TIME Uses Cover to Shield Obama From Negative Press Magazine Gave Him in Int'l Editions

There are times when the media's liberal bias is so obvious it's nauseating.

Take TIME magazine for example which used the cover of its September 16 issue to blatantly shill for President Obama.

As the eagle-eyed Ace of Spades observed last Friday, TIME publishes four different editions around the world. Besides the one here, there's one for Europe/Middle East/Africa, Asia, and the South Pacific.

Readers outside the United States got the cover on the left with Russia's President and a headline reading "The World According To Vladimir Putin."

Above the headline, the text read, "America’s weak and waffling, Russia’s rich and resurgent–and its leader doesn’t care what anybody thinks of him."

Meanwhile, here in America, readers got the cover on the right with a football player and the headline "It's Time To Pay College Athletes."

I guess the folks at TIME felt it would be too much for Americans to handle their President having his lunch eaten by Russia's President.

On a humorous note, NBC Tonight Show host Jay Leno wasn't afraid to tell people that Friday. Of course, he's not as much of an Obama shill as TIME.

Power Line's John Hinderacker observed Sunday:

"Historically, the purpose of the press was to inform people. But the principal purpose of our laughably misnamed mainstream media is to prevent people from learning things that might not be good for them. Or, rather, for the Democratic Party."

Mark Steyn commented at National Review, "The palace guard in the America media are doing a straddle Pravda and Comical Ali never had to attempt — telling the truth to the world while keeping their domestic readership in the dark."

And they wonder why they're becoming less and less relevant with each passing day.

Nice catch, Ace! Bravo!
