In yet another example of the massive double standard between the way the “mainstream media” treats liberals and conservatives, Politico media reporter Michael Calderone greeted the resignation of disgraced Democrat congresswoman Katie Hill as an "epic dilemma" for the media. One media critic even warned of the oncoming "congressional selfie apocalypse."

Don't get Chuck Todd wrong: his heart is definitely in the right [i.e., left], liberal place about President Trump. On his MTP Daily show today, Todd made clear that he believes there is "damning" evidence against the president that supports his impeachment. But on a pragmatic political level, Todd expressed surprising skepticism about the wisdom of proceeding with impeachment, instead of letting voters decide at the ballot box in little more than a year.

While congressional Democrats did their best to make it sound like they were sad about the formalization of the impeachment inquiry, MSNBC’s Jason Johnson had a different take. Appearing on Thursday’s Deadline: White House, Johnson declared “I may be in the minority here. I’m not somber today. I’m thrilled.”

On Thursday's Fox and Friends, co-host Steve Doocy took the time to show viewers an embarrassing piece of video from former Vice President Joe Biden not highlighted elsewhere in the media in which the Democratic presidential candidate admitted that he advised President Barack Obama against the raid that killed Osama bin Laden in 2011.

Washington Post local news columnist Petula Dvorak often plays the identity politics card in her items for the Metro section, seeing things like racism and sexism everywhere. And after a column boasting how it’s not the Nationals that unites The Swamp but a rabid hatred of President Trump, she used her spot in Friday’s print edition to suggest the champion Washington Mystics have been shafted with a delay in their parade until spring and the female football team D.C. Divas not having one at all.

Tough guy rapper 50 Cent is out here thinking his connections to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi make him look like one tough cookie and a certified boss. Hilarious, we know. Still, the “In Da Club” emcee stepped foot on the Democrat leader’s turf to push for more diversity initiatives, and hail his “#1 Lady.

Liberal economist Paul Krugman initially predicted a doomsday scenario for markets following President Donald Trump’s election on Nov. 8, 2016. Krugman initially stated in The New York Times live election blog that “[i]t really does now look like President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging. When might we expect them to recover?” Krugman further suggested that “If the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never."

Our friend Sister Toldjah at RedState noted that CBS legal correspondent Jan Crawford tweeted some criticism of Hillary Clinton on Wednesday, and ended up getting into a Twitter fight with Jennifer Rubin, whose Twitter profile still hilariously claims she's a "Conservative blogger at the Washington Post." At least the Post was shamed out of a label, only saying on her blog page "Jennifer Rubin writes reported opinion for The Washington Post."

Univision’s “Agenda Latina” is evergreen, and ever expanding beyond immigration. The network now appears to be joining efforts to impose censorship on social media. Check out the full post to see as correspondent Lourdes Del Río advocated for “some sort of control” of social media.

Rather than subject herself to an actual news interview, on Thursday, shortly after the vote in Congress to formally endorse an impeachment inquiry against President Trump, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi went directly to liberal Late Show host Stephen Colbert to celebrate the radically partisan move. She was predictably treated to a hero’s welcome and even thanked Colbert for his supposed “patriotism.”

This afternoon on MSNBC, hosts and climate change propagandists Ali Velshi and Stephanie Ruhle sat back and stayed silent as their Democrat guest made an absurdly comical declaration about climate change. While discussing the flooding in New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo told the hosts the natural disaster was not only due to climate change, but they never had these natural disasters before.

The left only wants free speech for their side, but no one else. In a piece published on Medium, former Slate technology writer Will Oremus warned that Twitter’s decision to ban ads will hurt liberal causes. He wrote, “banning political ads is not as straightforward, nor as obviously correct, as those cheering Dorsey’s announcement seem to think.” The article argued that the Twitter ad ban will hurt “activists, labor groups, and organizers.”

Thursday’s Hardball featured a thick, heavy lather of liberal love for everyone from the Obamas to Speaker Nancy Pelosi and MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, all thanks to an ebullient host Chris Matthews hours after the House voted to formalize the impeachment inquiry against President Trump.

Just when you think things can’t get any more ridiculous on The View, the hosts spend a segment complaining about the President’s son’s Halloween costume as being insensitive to animals, on Friday’s show. The co-hosts also complained about a 2020 television ad put out by the President, which Joy Behar declared was full of paid actors “just like the ones who go to his rallies.”

The Daily Show loves to hold politicians to account, speak truth to power, right? Well, maybe if you’re a Republican. On Thursday, host Trevor Noah gushed over Hillary Clinton, wondering if the Democrat ever gets tired of all the “cheering” wherever she goes. Instead of hard-hitting satire, he offered this: “Does this ever get, like, tired, just walking around and people cheering for you when you walk into rooms?”
