In the midst of covering the unfolding active shooter situation on the YouTube campus in San Bruno, California on Tuesday, MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace interrupted her commentary on Deadline: White House because she thought the sound of someone popping open a soda can somewhere near set was gunshots.
ABC’s new drama For The People is back once again to teach us how to practice law SJW-style. We’ve seen them tackle racism not once but twice, so now they’re taking on a new opponent: evil corporations.
Often while watching CNN, one can only just shake their head at the utter lack of self-awareness regarding many of their anti-Trump declarations. One such moment occurred during Tuesday’s edition of Anderson Cooper 360 when infamous plagiarist and CNN host Fareed Zakaria chastised President Trump, suggesting that no one believed what he said. And to add to the irony of the situation, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper agreed that it was a sorry state of affairs.
To accompany his Facebook post unleashing a torrent of disdain for the Sinclair Broadcast Group (SBG), disgraced former CBS Evening News anchor Dan Rather used his weekly show on the far-left network The Young Turks to expand on the Sinclair ad controversy, denouncing it as “Orwellian” “propaganda” while deeming press criticism as authoritarian behavior.
In a 60-second promo, the local anchors in each market read a script by their employers at Sinclair, and the Trump-hating media gave birth to a large cow. The script expressed alarm about the "sharing of biased and false news" on social media, and professed a "commitment to factual reporting." This is preciesly what the left-wing media would say about Fox News. But this was about them.
Normally, HLN’s S.E. Cupp Unfiltered can be counted on to push back against the liberal media when they get stirred up into one of their nonsensical frenzies with the most recent case being the gun control debate. But on Tuesday, Cupp parroted the CNN company line by condemning Sinclair Broadcast Group as nothing more than state-owned propaganda. She even took it a step farther and compared them to Heaven’s Gate suicide cult.
If Nickelodeon thought politicizing its annual Kids’ Choice Awards would draw viewership, the liberal tween-centered network was sadly mistaken. In fact, despite a slew of star power and a fun segment based on the critically-acclaimed Nintendo Switch game Super Mario Odyssey, the blatant and unnecessary March for Our Lives references looks to have turned kids and their parents away in droves.
A Houston grand jury recently indicted pro football player Michael Bennett on the charge of injuring an elderly woman, and his social justice warrior friends in the media have their long knives out for the police. Dave Zirin, who co-wrote a book ("Things That Make White People Uncomfortable") with Bennett, to be released tomorrow, charges the arrest was timed with the release of the book. Described by Town Hall Seattle as a "feminist," Bennett surrendered to Houston police last week and was released on $10,000 bail.
Since Sunday night, the liberal media have been haranguing network affiliate owner Sinclair Broadcast Group (SBG) for a new “must-run” promo that warned against “biased and false news.” The two have slammed it as Trump-backed “state-run TV” on par with the former Soviet outlet Pravda that's “chilling,” frightening” and “a really embarrassing moment for journalism.” A NewsBusters study examined the two cable networks on April 2 found that CNN spent 76 minutes and 42 seconds while MSNBC hyperventilated for nearly twice as long at 134 minutes and 42 seconds.
During the 3 P.M. ET Hour of CNN Newsroom Tuesday, CNN analyst Tara Setmayer alleged that President Trump envies Jeff Bezos because he “is the richest man in the world”, described Twitter as a “pacifier” for President Trump and referred to Fox News as a “propaganda channel.”
It looks like the media and the left have found a new argument in their quest to prove that Republicans hate children. Taking a break from accusing Republicans of hating children for refusing to jump on board with student activists demanding gun control, CNN's At This Hour has found a new sympathetic group to rally around: activist Oklahoma public school teachers.
CBS reporter Major Garrett melted down on Tuesday as he reacted to CBSN losing its live feed after a Donald Trump press conference. The senior White House reporter began yelling at all the "dummies” responsible.
Tuesday, the Washington Post, whose motto since February 2017 has been "Democracy Dies in Darkness," gave precious access to a supporter of Xi Jinping's consolidation of power in mainland China. "Shanghai venture capitalist" Eric X. Li also taunted the West, claiming that "liberal democracy in its current state seems incapable of producing a leader half as good."
On Monday’s CNN Tonight, anchor Don Lemon devoted a segment to questioning a picture of the latest class of White House interns, which is overwhelmingly white. Lemon also showed a picture of Obama’s 2014 interns, which was much more racially diverse. Ryan Saavedra of the Daily Wire reports the conversation quickly devolved into alleged Republican Tara Setmayer excusing racial slurs for black conservatives.
Remember all those op-eds about Muslim crimes and violent fanaticism that NBC ran to coincide with Ramadan? Neither do we.
No, that’s the kind of insult the network reserves for Christians at Easter. Like the Easter Sunday piece from one Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove on the NBC News site. In it, he told the story of the Colfax County murders from 1873 and linked that massacre to the 2016 election, since both apparently involved white evangelicals.
