Bozell on 'Fox & Friends' Discussing Wisconsin, 'Hannity' Tackling Federal Budget Bias

NewsBusters publisher Brent Bozell appeared on Friday's 'Fox & Friends' to discuss the media's lack of interest in uncivil rhetoric from left-leaning labor unions massing in Madison, Wisconsin over the past few days.

Some protesters' signs have depicted Republican Gov. Scott Walker as Hitler, others as recently-deposed Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak. Some even depict crosshairs over Walker's face.

Yet the media have done virtually nothing to expose let alone criticize the inciteful rhetoric.

"Where it comes to the Tea Party, all manner of media accusations are put forward, never mind that there's no basis in fact. When it comes to a left-wing march, they do say all the awful things... yet you'll never see them reported on the news," Bozell told "Fox & Friends" host Steve Doocy while producers showed on a split-screen some examples of the hate-filled rally signs leftist protesters carried in Madison days ago.

The night before, Bozell appeared on "Hannity" for the popular recurring "Media Mash" segment. The Media Research Center president looked back at the two years since the 2009 stimulus bill was passed.

"If you're going to be an objective reporter, you have an obligation to point out that we are now in month 21 of unemployment being over nine percent, which is the largest time we've been in unemployment over nine percent since the Great Depression. There have been 589 stories done on this stimulus bill," Bozell noted, but only nine noted that unemployment has not been held under eight percent as President forecasted would happen as a result of passing the stimulus.
