Last week, Paramount’s latest television series, 68 Whiskey, introduced viewers to the plight of Sergeant Rosa Alvarez (Cristina Rodlo) whose DACA status is being revoked. Thus, she’s being dismissed from the Army. January 22's episode, "Finger Lickin' Good" continues the storyline, with a lot of insults for our "racist goddamn country."

During breaks in the trial action happening on the floor of the Senate Wednesday, Democratic senators would make their way to their friends in the liberal media to get some softball questions served their way. A common narrative CNN and MSNBC were trying to get the senators to agree to was a conspiracy theory that suggested Republicans were not taking the trial seriously, with many of them not even present in the chamber. Unfortunately for the media, things didn’t go the way they were expecting.

We’ve seen how little Freeform’s Party of Five thinks about U.S. immigration laws, but it turns out that was just the tip of the iceberg. Apparently, the 2020 reboot also doesn’t think highly of rich white people either. What a predictable development for this blatantly political show.

In the minutes leading up to CNN's live coverage of Day 2 of the Trump impeachment trial, CNN host John King lectured the Republicans have failed to do any congressional oversight of Hunter Biden, and Jake Tapper accused GOP senators of “creating an alternate reality” where the President “is truly concerned about corruption.”

With the first day of opening arguments for the impeachment trial still unfolding at air time, CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell kicked off Wednesday's show by singing the praises of the Democratic impeachment managers. With an announcement of “breaking news” at the top of the opening teases, O’Donnell boasted: “The Democrats prosecuting the President open the Senate trial in dramatic fashion.”

As MSNBC got ready for day two of the impeachment trial, former editor of Time and former Obama Undersecretary of State Rick Stengel joined an panel led by Chris Matthews where he compared President Trump's treatment of the media to Joseph Stalin.

MSNBC’s Last Word host Lawrence O’Donnell was once again a panelist during the Senate impeachment trial’s dinner break, joining his colleagues this time on Wednesday and opined that it’s been “another extraordinary day” and that Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) defending the President represents “the face of terror” fearing the wrath of Trump.

The gushing over Adam Schiff continued on Wednesday. While CNN hailed the “Dazzling” and “remarkable” opening statements by the Democrat, ABC’s Terry Moran enthused over the “senatorial eloquence” of the “meticulous” Schiff. Regarding Schiff’s two and a half hour address, Moran extolled: “Adam Schiff addressing the Senate sitting as a court of impeachment with a proper legal argument. It was meticulous and well organized."

Amanda Marcotte is back with another searing indictment of President Trump, and by searing we mean she’s focused on bashing “white conservative” America and their self-manufactured, Fox News-curated victim status again.

The liberal hacks at CNN were like kids on Christmas morning during Wednesday’s first break in the Senate impeachment trial, offering themselves up not as journalists but valentines for lead House Impeachment Manager Adam Schiff (D-CA), calling his presentation “coherent,” “cohesive,” “dazzling,” “forceful,” “inspiring,” “powerful,” and “remarkable.” In other words, for those of us out there that are single, we can only hope and pray to find someone who speaks to us the way CNN talks about their dearly beloved Schiff.

In a "pre-game" segment before Wednesday's Senate trial proceedings on CBSN, 60 Minutes correspondent discussed differences between today's impeachment effort and the 1999 Clinton impeachment. She asserted -- wrongly -- that there was no Fox News in 1999, but it launched in October 1996.

One Big Tech company has embraced the opportunity to cash in on the impeachment proceedings. From breath freshening “Impeachmints” and “National Embarassmints” to anti-Trump scented candles and shirts, Amazon appears to be making money from hatred of the current president.

If this week’s Impeachment drama hasn’t been exciting enough for you, let Hollywood transport you back to a time when impeachment trials had actual drama, even actual crimes. Hollywood execs dropped big news on Jan. 22 about their upcoming crime series on the Bill Clinton impeachment, announcing one of the shows newly-signed, big name lefty actors.

In a head-scratching moment on Wednesday’s The View, far-left co-host Sunny Hostin claimed she was “shocked” when critics called her a lefty because she was actually “socially conservative.” Hostin made the comment as the hosts were discussing a poll which found a majority of black Democrat voters identified as moderate and conservative. Her liberal co-host Whoopi Goldberg also tried to jump on the bandwagon and claim she was also “conservative” on some issues.

The impeachment trial in the Senate is finally underway, but this has been a long time coming for Hollywood. Ever since election night 2016 they have been desperate for ways to overturn the results. Their fevered dreams of removing Trump from office, especially via impeachment or the 25th Amendment, have bled over into their tv scripts. Whether its addressing Trump directly or using other presidential characters as stand-ins to show how easy it could be, several shows have had storylines about the president being removed in the Trump era. Here are the top six.
