MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski Snobbishly Declares: 'No Real Men' in White House

Co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski were still steaming about the Trump cabinet meeting on Wednesday’s Morning Joe. “They do not take an oath to Donald Trump,” Scarborough screeched, “They take an oath to uphold the constitution of the United States of America and if they don't understand that, they need to leave.” Brzezinski concurred before snobbishly stating later, “Talk about the lack of diversity in the White House, let me just say there are no real men in the inner circle of the White House, none at all.”

Brzezinski’s hypocrisy is astounding given her previous history of gushing over prominent liberal figures [link]. This appears to have been no barrier, however, to her leveling charges of sycophancy at others. The conversation between the two hosts went as follows:

JOE SCARBOROUGH: Everybody around that table that you're looking at right now, they do not serve Donald Trump. They serve the people of the United States of America. They do not take an oath to Donald Trump, they take an oath to uphold the constitution of the United States of America and if they don't understand that, they need to leave.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Well, and if the President seems delusional about his accomplishments, you can point to no further than that room that is helping confirm this sort of sense of totally exaggerated self that he has.

SCARBOROUGH: And Mika, I think it's very telling the first week we went in there, we went in nine, ten days into it, and it was very obvious when he asked how I thought the first week went, and I said not well. He kept repeating that for an hour and a half to anybody who would listen, how shocked he was. It was very obvious at that time, we said it on the air, that nobody in the White House had told him that the first executive order had been a calamity. That nobody told him about the missteps about crowd size. That nobody had told him that lying about 3 million votes. That nobody inside that White House tells him the truth. Therein lies the biggest problem.

BRZEZINSKI: We talk about the lack of diversity in the White House, let me just say there are no real men in the inner circle of the White House, none at all.

So, does this declaration include Secretaries Mattis and Kelly? Does it include General McMaster? Does it include Vice President Mike Pence or HUD Secretary and former brain surgeon Ben Carson? Do none of these people or any other cabinet members qualify as ‘real men?’
