On Morning Joe, MSNBC "Republican" Elise Jordan, commenting on Rudy Giuliani's conversation with Chris Cuomo on CNN regarding possible contacts between the Trump administration and Ukraine, literally called for Giuliani to be sent off to die: "drunk grandpa just needs to be pulled off to hospice."
The three major broadcast networks spent time promoting radical environmental activism on Friday’s morning broadcasts. Teens and children conducted a global “strike” this morning against climate change ahead of a United Nations summit on the subject. ABC, NBC and CBS couldn’t get enough of the youths' liberal activism, gushing about the kids as young as 9 years old walking out of school to “lead the way” in the political movement.
This week, 250 news organizations around the world are colluding to produce global warming propaganda in the days surrounding the UN climate summit on September 23. Variety magazine is one of the publications involved and they reported on Hollywood’s efforts to combat global warming, wondering if the entertainment industry is doing enough to sway public opinion.
The American press fell head over heels for the lefty Canadian PM when he first hit the scene in 2016. He got the pop star treatment with network anchors catching “Justin Fever” as they swooned over the “super hunky” “dreamy” and “adorable” politician they dubbed “Canada’s Obama.” The following is just a few of examples of the liberal media’s infatuation with Trudeau, as culled from the MRC’s archives.
In Thursday’s installment of The Hill’s “Rising,” chief Washington correspondent Saagar Enjeti lit up New York Times reporters Kate Kelly and Robin Pogrebin for their smear campaign against Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and grilled them on their obfuscation of exculpatory facts.
Liberals seem to be so desperate to defeat President Donald Trump in 2020 that they are now digging up Roy Cohn from the grave to slam him despite the fact that the famed attorney has been dead for 33 years. This latest effort in the form of a documentary called, "Where's My Roy Cohn?" prominently features Trump, a fact that was hyped over and over again by Politico senior staff writer Michael Kruse in the September 19 Politico Magazine.
Recently, firearms manufacture Colt declared that they will be suspending consumer sales of their classic AR-15 rifle citing “significant” competition in the modern sporting rifle market. Of course, once the liberal media learned of this, they took a victory lap of sorts on Thursday. Both ABC and CBS highlighted Colt’s decision, with the former seemingly making up a quote from Colt’s CEO.
In a New York Magazine story claiming the age of athlete-politicians is coming soon, Will Leitch not only endorses the idea, but says a presidential ticket of LeBron James and Megan Rapinoe is already underway. Leitch is jazzed about the idea of athletes seeking public office — particularly those who are aligned with Democrat positions.
New York Times “climate reporter” Hiroko Tabuchi went to war against “secretive” conservative free-market groups that are fighting counter-productive regulations in Wednesday’s edition: “Warriors Against Environmental Rules Champion the Dishwasher.” Tabuchi found herself in the strange position of embracing corporate public-relations-speak from dishwasher manufacturers, in the cause of defending regulations.
The revelation that Canadian Prime Minister wore brownface on multiple occasions as an adult has thrown a wrench in a northernly neighbor's election cycle as the world's most woke leader is now the subject of international scrutiny for his past behavior. Back home the media has pursued the usual "pouncing" angels, but CNN contributor Wajahat Ali took the opportunity on Thursday's CNN Newsroom to espouse some hot takes of his own, including that, "conservatives don't seem to like black and brown people."
The crass, horribly annoying TBS host Samantha Bee was back at it Wednesday night, expressing dismay that Brett Kavanaugh remains on the Supreme Court while showering praise on the horribly biased and factually challenged New York Times reporters Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly for supposedly unearthing claims from “highly credible” Kavanaugh accusers. Along the way, she threw in insults about Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) being both a “bitch” and a frog eating flies, but that’s rather mild compared to some of her past statements.
On Monday, PolitiFact editor Angie Drobnic Holan wrote an article expressing her frustration that Sen. Ted Cruz would dare to mock her website on Twitter as “a wholly-owned subsidary of the DNC.” She insisted PolitiFact is an "independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit newsroom that fact-checks Democrats and Republicans alike" that was "unaffected by agenda or biases." That's not what a look at the numbers on Ted Cruz vs. Elizabeth Warren show.
An anonymous intelligence official has claimed that President Trump said something to someone during a phone call that the unnamed official found troubling. That is a summation of the flimsy reporting in The Washington Post that all three network morning shows seized on Thursday morning. With almost no facts to go on, reporters on NBC, ABC, and CBS breathlessly declared a “growing scandal” and “potential constitutional showdown” over the matter.
In recent weeks, “comedian” Samantha Bee has used her TBS program Full Frontal to advocate for left-wing policy proposals from gun control to student loan forgiveness. This week, she gave a lecture on climate change. Bee spent most of her monologue trashing the Koch brothers, whom she described as “two guys” who “managed to radically damage Planet Earth.”
Remember the first outbreak of PC years ago? Back then it was a distant, isolated phenomenon -- an exotic STD localized to college campuses. Reality, like a dose of penicillin, would take care of things. Normal people had fun changing “bald” to “follically challenged,” and “hookers” to “horizontal laborers.” Good times.
