There are times when it seems that obviously liberal outlets in the “mainstream media” get away with producing “fake news” without facing any consequences for their poor reporting. That situation will change after Thanksgiving, when California Republican Devin Nunes -- one of the press’s favorite targets during the “impeachment inquiry” held recently in the U.S. House of Representatives -- fights back in federal court against “demonstrably false” articles that have appeared on CNN and the Daily Beast website.

Despite the fact, polls showed that as impeachment dragged on more and more people were souring on it, ABC, CBS, and NBC were excited for the possibility of even more House hearings. Their Monday excitement was spurred on by the ruling of a federal court judge, who said former White House Counsel Don McGahn had to testify before Congress. The ruling went against what the White House was hoping for and the broadcast networks were absolutely giddy thinking about this could affect impeachment.

For all the liberal smears against Fox News claiming they’re “state-run media,” it has become clear that's exactly what Bloomberg News would become if former Mayor Michael Bloomberg wins in 2020. While ABC, CBS, and NBC spent Sunday evening and Monday hyping the billionaire’s new presidential campaign, they ignored how Bloomberg News had been ordered to not investigate their owner or his Democratic opponents, and to keep the pressure on President Trump. Some might argue it was the weaponization of a media outlet for personal gain.

During a discussion on the indictment of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the panel on Sunday’s Fareed Zakaria GPS repeatedly compared Netanyahu to President Trump. The New York Times columnist Tom Friedman praised members of Netanyahu’s Likud Party for turning their backs on the Prime Minister while complaining that the “sick” Republican Party has not done the same thing to Trump.

Careful Colbert, your impeachment excitement is showing again. Many are aware of Senator Kamala Harris’ controversial legal track record from her tenure as California’s Attorney General. However, Colbert acted as though he had yet to receive this memo as he requested Harris’ prosecutorial input into the impeachment inquiry on Thursday’s The Late Show.

An actor and comedian famous for his shenanigans as the character Borat blasted the Big Tech community for being “the greatest propaganda machine in history” and knocking Facebook for its recent free speech stance. Sacha Baron Cohen gave a speech at the Anti-Defamation League's 2019 Never Is Now Summit on Anti-Semitism and Hate last Thursday, claiming that “hate and violence is being facilitated by a handful of internet companies that amount to the greatest propaganda machine in history."

Hollywood is the entertainment arm for the Democratic Party, we get that. However, it’s weird to think both establishments are so intertwined that even individuals as successful as failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate and former romance novelist Stacey Abram gets one of her naughty memoirs turned into a full-length TV series.

New on Nov. 25: Promoting Jake Tapper’s then-upcoming Sunday night CNN special, “All the President’s Lies,” Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter on Sunday morning wondered to Tapper: “Do you think journalists are going to look back years from now and regret not doing even more to speak out about this lying and deceit?”

CNN Newsroom co-host Jim Sciutto took the opportunity on Monday to diagnose Republicans with reality-denying "psychosis" and hype his book Shadow War in the process. Sciutto was particularly incensed at Republicans for questioning Russian interference in the 2016 election, instead offering up the CrowdStrike conspiracy theory that says it was Ukraine that interfered in 2016.

Liberal billionaire and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg decided to toss his hat into the already-crowded Democratic Party presidential primary race all at the expense of the credibility of a major news outlet he owns. To deal with the apparent conflict of interest, “Bloomberg News” announced it would not be investigating their owner or his Democratic Party rivals, but “will report on Michael Bloomberg’s 2020 presidential campaign,” Politico reported November 24.

The View hosts couldn’t come to agreement on Monday’s show on the topic of Facebook and free speech. Since October, the media has been attacking the social media platform for not following Twitter’s example in banning political ads, (yet). Co-host Joy Behar complained the website was promoting “dangerous propaganda” just like how the media covered candidate Trump during the 2016 election.

On Monday morning, CNN and MSNBC missed an easy lay-up that would have reinforced their love for America and our military. Instead, they refused to carry live the public portion of a White House event honoring Conan, the Belgian Malinois dog who became famous for their heroism during the October 26 raid that killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. In CNN’s case, the Jeffrey Zucker-led network’s hatred for Trump led them to not even acknowledge that the event took place during Inside Politics and since then (as of this blog’s publication).

It’s that time of year again, when the cold bitter truth about our wretched Thanksgiving holiday must be brought to the surface. Rather then let today’s Americans celebrate a day of gratitude for our blessed lot in life in this successful, multicultural country, we must fixate on North America’s first bloody instances of identity politics.

Parody accounts on Twitter are supposed to be protected under the platform’s terms of service. But the company seems to forget this fact on a regular basis. A parody account of Mayor Michael Bloomberg, @ElBloombito, was briefly suspended on Nov. 22.

Broadcast networks ABC, CBS, and NBC have donated 75 hours of free air time to Democrats’ impeachment hearings against President Trump, despite bad (and consistently shrinking) ratings. Yet in 1998 during President Clinton’s impeachment, these same networks could not be bothered to carry more than a few hours of independent counsel Ken Starr’s one-day presentation of the evidence against the President.
