While not in any way a conservative Republican, it’s amazing to consider how insufferably liberal former Bush administration official and failed McCain campaign hand Nicolle Wallace has become and such a reliable lefty for MSNBC. Tuesday’s post-debate coverage provided numerous examples of her progressivism, including her gripe that the debate insufficiently covered impeachment and voicing support for Senator Kamala Harris’s pleas for Twitter to ban President Trump.
As part of the post-debate routine, Democratic presidential candidates make the rounds with their friends in the liberal media (especially the host network) and take part in softball interviews. But there was a common theme throughout the questions CNN lobbed at their guests Tuesday night: Why were you targeting Senator Elizabeth Warren (MA) so aggressively?
Late Tuesday night, MSNBC’s post-debate panel reacted to the 2020 Democratic primary hubbub and, while later spinning that no one had a bad debate, they initially knocked Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) as both “annoyed” and “petulant” for being unable to handle incoming attacks as the frontrunner, but swooned over Pete Buttigieg being the second coming of Barack Obama.
Newsbusters has been regularly documenting how the major television networks are pushing a pro-illegal immigration/anti-ICE narrative in their dramas and comedies. Network shows use similar buzz words, as if Hollywood writers are just borrowing “fill-in-the-blanks” worksheets provided to them by open borders advocates.
All’s well does not end well for Joe Biden, especially in Tuesday’s Democratic Debate in which his once cemented front runner status seemed to be superseded by Senator Elizabeth Warren. No one was quicker to point out this predicted chain of events than Trevor Noah and his guest CBS correspondent Alex Wagner on The Daily Show following the debate.
Apparently, Fox’s Empire wasn’t finished lecturing us about abortion. The October 15 episode “Tell the Truth” decides to take everything they said about “pro-life” beliefs and make it worse. This time, Christians and pro-life women are the ones to pay.
Doctors are generally believed to uphold the value of “first do no harm,” but that wasn’t the case on the latest episode of medical drama New Amsterdam which portrayed enabling a suicide as an act of mercy. Oncologist Dr. Helen Sharpe is one of the most sympathetic characters on NBC’s New Amsterdam. She shows gentleness and compassion to all her patients. But on Tuesday’s episode she secretly provided a suffering cancer patient with the medical means to take her own life.
CNN on Tuesday night hammered the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates from the left, demanding to know exactly how they plan on “stopping” pro-life states who dare to pass laws restricting abortion. Co-debate moderator Erin Burnett also promoted the packing of the Supreme Court.
Roughly halfway through the second hour of CNN’s Tuesday night Democratic presidential debate, moderator Anderson Cooper dove into the obligatory questions about enacting strict and intrusive gun control measures. This time, nearly all the questions pertained to probing the candidates on their support for mandatory gun confiscation. And if not, why not?
Did CNN offer an assist to far-left Democratic presidential candidate Tom Steyer on Tuesday? During the presidential debate, a CNN graphic described Steyer with the somewhat toxic description of “former hedge fund manager.” It’s not a popular term. For example, the website Efinancialcareers offered this headline: “Why only the worst people tend to work for new hedge funds.” So, it’s interesting that for the rest of the debate the graphic for Steyer was changed to “businessman.” Here’s the before and after graphics:
Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) took a giant whack at the liberal media during Tuesday night’s 2020 Democratic debate, taking issue with debate partners CNN and The New York Times as being overly hostile due to her foreign policy views. And to make things even more interesting, she specifically slammed CNN political commentator Bakari Sellers (without naming him).
CNN devoted the first 20 minutes of the 2020 Democratic primary debate to impeachment and actually asked the candidates some tough questions on whether the process makes any sense. Yet, moderator Anderson Cooper made sure to exonerate the Bidens, telling Joe Biden that your son has been “falsely accused” and there’s “no evidence” of any wrongdoing. Cooper began by repeating Democratic talking points.
When John Bolton first became President Trump’s national security advisor back in March of last year, the liberal broadcast networks were sounding their alarms to warn viewers of his “hardline” and “controversial” positions. But on Tuesday, they clung to reports that Bolton described Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani as a “hand grenade” running something like a “drug deal” in Ukraine.
On Monday's Amanpour and Company on PBS, host Christiane Amanpour gave liberal actress Jane Fonda a forum to promote her alarmist views on global warming, picking up on the veteran political activist's recent push to hold a weekly protest outside the U.S. Capitol on the issue. The liberal activist railed against the fossil fuel industry, fearmongered about there allegedly being only a decade left in which to cut carbon dioxide emissions, and complained that American "individualism" is a problem.
Univision’s national Monday evening newscast included to what amounted to free promotion for liberal activists pushing for illegal immigration, complete with a closing endorsement from correspondent Lourdes del Río, who all but made a call to action with their contact information.
