What does it take for a Democratic presidential candidate to be covered for a gaffe? Does discussing the time you went to see a pornographic movie with your mother count? Apparently not as the networks on Thursday skipped the former Colorado governor’s recounting taking his mom to see the X-rated 1970s movie Deep Throat.
New York Democratic Rep. Max Rose is portrayed as one of the more sensible freshman Democrats in Congress, but on Thursday, he went on MSNBC's Morning Joe and accused the media of being Republican puppets.
An interview with New York Times immigration correspondent Miriam Jordan posted Wednesday by Columbia Journalism Review underlined the point of liberal media bias. She's only reporting on half of the immigration debate, the "pro-immigrant" half. The Times itself explains that Jordan "reports from a grassroots perspective on the impact of immigration policy on people in the country legally and illegally."
On Wednesday, Democratic 2020 presidential candidate Cory Booker was treated to a lovefest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The liberal daytime host predictably fawned over the New Jersey Senator and urged him to attack the President, claiming that a series of recent tweets proved Trump was “losing his mind.” Later in the interview, Booker returned the favor by praising DeGeneres for her supposed “goodness, kindness, and decency.”
Dinosaur media outlet Time magazine awarded Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez a gushing cover story for the April 1 issue, rhapsodizing over the “phenom” who is “the best storyteller in the [Democratic] Party.” Ocasio-Cortez’s hard-left brand of socialism is portrayed positively and Time national correspondent Charlotte Alter found no time to mention the cow farting and airplane elimination removal part of the Green New Deal.
All three networks spent Thursday morning gushing in favor of New Zealand’s new gun ban, touting that it had “widespread, bipartisan support” with “very little opposition.” ABC, NBC and CBS also spent time shaming the U.S. for not adopting a similar buyback measure.
Have you wondered how far the liberals’ war on traditional values has gone? Over in Britain, a Catholic journalist is finding out just how far the left will go to enforce its orthodoxy. Caroline Farrow, a commentator & journalist for the UK Catholic Pressis being prosecuted -- and persecuted -- for the crime of “misgendering” another woman’s daughter on Twitter.
After his appearance on Wednesday's show, Morning Joe goes gaga for hard-left presidential candidate 'Mayor Pete' Buttigieg. Mika Brzezinski claims, "I was surprised by the number of Republicans who reached out to me, saying, I'm going to support him. Because I'm looking for someone."
Wednesday was CNN’s Democratic Town Hall with former Colorado Governor and 2020 hopeful John Hickenlooper in Atlanta, Georgia, which was only the latest in their series. And while there were some funny moments, there were plenty of far-left questions sprinkled throughout. One of which came from moderator and chief political correspondent Dana Bash, asking Hickenlooper if he would sign a national emergency to deal with gun violence.
In a continuation from last week’s episode of Star, the March 20 episode, “Watch the Throne,” once more delves into the characters' fight to make Atlanta a sanctuary city so that Simone can be reunited with her husband Angel, an illegal immigrant who is on the run from ICE.
Talk about a contrast. On Wednesday, MSNBC’s Hardball offered two snippets that were both random and couldn’t have been any more different. In the first instance, there was former Apprentice contestant, former White House official, and now anti-Trump hero Omarosa suggesting that Kellyanne Conway is a bad wife for not quitting the White House and rallying to her husband George’s side on his feud with the President. And in the other footnote, there was host Chris Matthews strategizing with Congressman Jamie Raskin (D-MD) on removing President Trump from office via the 25th Amendment.
An issue frequently pushed by leftist feminists is that of the myth of gender-based pay inequity between men and women doing the same jobs in the same industries. The issue is promoted to a young adult audience on Freeform’s Good Trouble as Mariana struggles to adjust to her job in the high-tech industry. The episode airing March 19, titled "Less Than," even moves into playing the race card.
“ISIS's reign of terror over nearly ten million people has come to an end,” CBS international correspondent Charlie D’Agata proudly announced during Wednesday’s CBS Evening News. The reports came as President Trump told the press that the last remnants of the terrorist group should be wiped out by tonight. It was great news that got little airtime on ABC’s World News Tonight, where anchor David Muir sounded skeptical of the President.
As CNN anchors have repeatedly over the last several days made a point of highlighting vows by New Zealand's prime minster to enact new gun control quickly in response to the recent mosque attacks, CNN Newsroom host Brooke Baldwin went so far as to give a commentary suggesting that U.S. lawmakers have failed by not behaving more like New Zealand.
Game of Thrones star Kit Harington appears to be the latest in a long line of Hollywood lefty Trump Derangement Syndrome victims. The actor behind the show's hero Jon Snow recently sat down with Variety to talk about the upcoming final season of HBO’s insanely popular, long-running medieval fantasy series, a shockingly-violent and sexually-disturbed drama that focuses on various royal bloodlines competing for the claim to the Iron Throne.
