CW’s alien series Roswell, New Mexico has finally come to an end. With its Trump jabs, obvious politicization of illegal immigrants, and general awfulness, the show is a low point even for a channel with woke witches and Supergirl. The finale decided to immortalize the mess with a ham-handed condemnation of gun laws.
During his appearance on Tuesday’s Cuomo Prime Time, former Attorney General Michael Mukasey didn’t shy away from calling Chris Cuomo out for “misleading a lot of people” when it came to the findings of the special counsel investigation. In a brilliant display of schooling the so-called “Facts First” network, Mukasey went toe-to-toe with blowhard host and outclassed him at every turn.
The Mueller Report is out, and Donald Trump’s summary got it right: “no collusion, no obstruction.” Mueller could also have labeled him the next iteration of St. Teresa but it still wouldn’t have made a lick of difference. The left wants him impeached -- period.
Since the national consensus on the report by Special Consul Robert Mueller was that it cleared President Trump of charges he colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election, the liberals at MSNBC have decided to focus on another charge: whether Trump tried to block the investigation of himself. One example of this tactic comes from Ari Melber, a former lawyer and host of The Beat program on weekday evenings, who on Monday claimed that there is “substantial evidence against Trump regarding the crime of obstruction of justice” and compared the situation to the scary movie When a Stranger Calls.
"Everywhere you look in American history, racism coexists with something noble." This is the conclusion of Michael A. Fletcher, senior writer at the race-baiting blog The Undefeated, a subsidiary of ESPN. What prompted his dismissal of America as the land of the free was the recent news that the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Yankees have dispatched the traditional playing of Kate Smith's "God Bless America" based on the unearthing of two race-related songs she performed the better part of a century ago.
Thursday is reportedly when we should expect former Vice President Joe Biden to formally announce his 2020 campaign for president. After fawning for Biden’s many hints for over a month, ABC and CBS were excited during their Tuesday evening broadcasts. Not so much for NBC, who brought up some of Biden’s lowest moments for liberals.
In the past, former CNN host Piers Morgan has sympathized with the liberal point of view and especially when it comes to theSecond Amendment and traditional values. However, he has recently emerged as a defender of President Trump. During an appearance on Hannity Monday night, Morgan ripped the liberal media for its coverage of the Mueller report.
Who would you turn to for advice on civility and our divided culture? If you said Samantha Bee, the same person who vomited out attacks on “lying ghoul,” Nazi, “cunt” conservatives, you have the same thinking as CBS. The This Morning hosts on Tuesday conducted a friendly interview with the liberal Full Frontal host. They never one asked Bee about infamously trashing Ivanka Trump as a “feckless cunt.”
Phase II of the Marvel comic book cinematic universe is going to involve a few less of our classic superheros in favor of a bold new array of diverse and inclusive characters. Yes, Marvel’s going a lot more ethnic, and a lot more gay because what’s cooler than finding out that your new favorite Avenger enjoys his skintight latex suit for far more than just crime-fighting purposes?
All aboard the crazy train! On Tuesday afternoon’s CNN Newsroom, liberal media janitor and Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter appeared alongside host Brooke Baldwin to complain about the Trump administration boycotting Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner (WHCD), which is arguably the most pompous, self-worshipping annual celebration known to man (besides Hollywood awards shows). Because after all, there’s no profession that loves itself more than the national press!
Two Catholic churches were bombed in Sri Lanka on Easter, leading to hundreds of deaths. But Comedy Central host Trevor Noah thinks this a great time to mock the Catholic Church for making huge sex-abuse settlements...years ago. Noah showed NBC News footage, with morning host Sheinelle Jones reporting that while a billion dollars has been pledged for the rebuilding of Notre Dame cathedral, protesters are complaining "the needs of the poor are going unmet." Noah suggested the Catholic Church, a billion dolllars is "nothing to them....like three child abuse settlements."
During a contentious interview with Republican Utah Senator Mike Lee on Tuesday, the hosts of CBS This Morning grilled the lawmaker on whether President Trump should be impeached following the release of the Mueller report and fretted that the President was unfit for office. They also pressed Lee on whether the results of the Russia investigation would “hurt” Republicans politically.
Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren has grand ambitions for spending other people’s money. Her latest proposal was (by her own estimation) a $1.25 trillion policy proposal for student loan forgiveness and free college.
CBS News made a $49,950,000 error when it reported that Warren’s reparations plan “would also create some incentives for black students and lower-income families such as a fund with at least $50 million for historically black colleges and universities.”
A CNN New Day panel painted Kamala Harris as the loser in last night's CNN town halls. Three CNN journalists criticized her for not offering "something bold," instead using the "let's have a conversation about that" dodge. Alisyn Camerota got in a zinger at the end, suggesting that if Harris wanted to have a conversation, a town hall just might have been the right place to do it. Ouch!
The New York Times’ hostile coverage of the annual White House Easter Egg Roll proved the paper wouldn’t dare give the Trump administration an easy boost with the non-offensive ritual, the way it did during the Obama administration. The headline in Tuesday’s edition was the giveaway: “Easter Eggs Come With a Side of Politics.” The online headline: “At a White House Tradition, Politics Color Everything but the Easter Eggs."
