Heather Heyer was murdered in Charlottesville, Virginia when a white nationalist terrorist drove through a crowd of counter protesters on Saturday. Her mother Susan Bro, who has vowed to carry on her daughter’s mission, appeared on MSNBC Live on Thursday to have an interview with host Katy Tur. If you thought the interview would be about Heather or how her mother planned to continue you’d be wrong. Out of the seven questions, Tur asked in the aired portion of their taped interview, five of them were about the President.

Thursday was a terrible day for the Democratic Party as they were rocked by two major scandals. First, Missouri State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal wrote on Facebook that she wanted President Trump assassinated. Second, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s former IT staffer, Imran Awan was indicted on bank fraud among other charges. Again, it was a damaging day for the Dems but you wouldn’t know it from watching the Big Three Networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) who ignored all of it.

There was sad news out of Barcelona, Spain on Thursday as an apparent ISIS terrorist attack gripped the historic city. As of the writing of this piece, it had been reported that the vehicle attack had claimed the lived of 13 people and left over 100 injured. But despite the attack and suspects still at large, NBC Nightly News couldn’t find it in them to shake their Trump fixation. They actually gave Trump related stories roughly 60 percent more coverage.

ESPN is eating crow -- Jim Crow -- and enduring the humiliation of its fellow race-baiting rivals, many of them crowing about its racial insensitivity. The Worldwide Leader in Sports is apologizing for a segment in a 28-hour marathon in which an auctioneer "sold" NFL players. The headshot photos of black and white players were attached to popsicle sticks, and drew criticism on social media that the auctions were too similar to the slave auctions of olden times.

There seems to be no bar to the crazy this week in the aftermath of Charlottesville. While critics are screaming at Trump’s suggestion that, after the Confederate monuments the left may go after the Founding Fathers, the fine people over at Newsweek are actually considering it. Not insane enough? Vice wants to “Blow Up Mount Rushmore.”

On Wednesday, Antifa was given prominent and positive coverage on MSNBC and not only did it go beyond the pro-Antifa MTP Daily segment but extended to Hardball. Host Chris Matthews featured a guest that gushed over the violent leftists as “diverse” and mostly “peaceful” while another was pathetic unprepared.

CBS This Morning co-hosts on Thursday skipped questioning Virginia’s Terry McAuliffe about his debunked Charlottesville claims. Instead, the journalists offered softballs about whether the Democratic governor thinks Donald Trump is “unfit to be President.”

Echoing a similar prior sentiment from CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer, during MSNBC’s 1 p.m. ET hour on Thursday, NBC News Terrorism Analyst Malcolm Nance argued that violence in Charlottesville, Virginia may have inspired the unfolding vehicle terrorist attack in Barcelona, Spain.

Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell issued a statement today in response to a Wednesday evening interview between MTP Daily host Chuck Todd and Mark Bray, a prominent voice in the radical left-wing Antifa movement. The Antifa supporter went unchallenged as he promoted his violent extremist beliefs to MSNBC viewers:

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer was anchoring the network’s breaking news coverage Thursday afternoon on the possible radical Islamic terror attack in Barcelona, Spain when he made the inartful and arguably pathetic assertion that the truck attack could be “a copycat” of the neo-Nazi car attack on Saturday in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Political reporters sounded like they were headed for fainting couches after President Trump’s press event at Trump Tower. Reporters professed incredulity that Trump would continue to criticize “anti-fascist” violence, as if those events mattered. The president's declaration that there were fine people on “both sides” of Saturday’s events sounded like people marching with Nazi flags were fine. But the media protected Barack Obama when he sounded tone-deaf after Americans died.

Ordinarily, this is a mostly fun column to point out how extremely whacky the alt-left is in America. We’ll get to that, but first, it’s important to know that the alt-left is also violent and dangerous. The media have gone berserk, angry that President Trump dared call out the left for its own violent lunatics. “I do think there's blame on both sides. You look at both sides. I think there's blame on both sides and I have no doubt about it and you don't have any doubt about it either and- and- and- and if you reported it accurately, you would say it,” explained the president.

As the left mobilizes mobs to tear down confederate statues (and peace monuments) from city-to-city, it was only a matter of time before they would be going after our Founding Fathers. On CNN Thursday morning, liberal analyst Angela Rye argued that our nation’s first president was as detestable as Robert E. Lee because he was a slave owner. “To me, I don't care if it's a George Washington statue or Thomas Jefferson, they all need to come down,” she said before ranting about America’s “very violent past.”

In the aftermath of Charlottesville, when the term “hate group” is used, images of the KKK and neo-nazis immediately come to mind.

However, according to CNN, the real hate groups to watch out for are the conservative organizations, specifically Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), the Family Research Council (FRC), American Family Association and ACT for America.

Media Research Center President Brent Bozell on Thursday chastised Donald Trump for allowing himself to be baited by liberal journalists out to get him. Talking to FBN’s Stuart Varney about the events in Charlottesville and the press conference that followed, Bozell marveled, “They know they can bait him."
