The New York Times is using the coronavirus pandemic to condemn its favorite targets, Fox News and Donald Trump, even suggesting the networks shouldn’t air Trump’s coronavirus press briefings. Media reporter Michael Grynbaum fretted, “Trump’s Briefings Are a Ratings Hit. Should Networks Cover Them Live? -- The president’s viewership has rivaled the audiences for hit reality shows and prime-time football.
No matter how many abortions there are in America, Planned Parenthood and their blood-thirsty cohorts are always screaming, “More, more!” On Twitter, Planned Parenthood freaked out that with the proposed Chinese coronavirus stimulus bill, Republicans are “ONCE AGAIN exploiting a public health crisis to target sexual and reproductive health care."
It looks like one big-name businessman isn’t allowing the coronavirus to dim his hopes on America’s economic strength. The Hillary Clinton supporter, billionaire Shark Tank star and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban stated in an economic-based interview on a Fox News podcast (Fox News Rundown ) that “We've had a taste of socialism right now ... giving money and redistributing wealth ... that's okay.” But Cuban didn’t put his stock in socialism:
Conservative news sources are calling out fact-checkers for ignoring inconvenient truths. PoltiFact, a fact-checking website acquired by the Soros-funded Poynter Institute in 2018, denied that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) had attempted to put abortion funding measures in the upcoming relief bill.
Rapper-turned-Gospel music producer Kanye West refuses to let the media have the final word on his support for President Donald Trump. The 42-year-old musician and clothing designer has generated his fair share of controversy in the last year, primarily for his support of the current president (someone many in Hollywood wouldn’t get caught dead praising,) and for turning his artistic ambitions to the message of Jesus Christ.
Lefty journalists have used this moment to play election year politics as they’ve labeled the pandemic Trump’s “Chernobyl” and “Katrina” and even charged that Republicans were fine with a “million seniors” dying. They also tarred Trump and conservatives as racist for noting the country of origin of the virus. All the while they’ve used this crisis to advocate for their favored socialist policies and politicians. The following are the worst examples of the media exploiting the pandemic over the last few weeks:
During a softball interview with Democratic California Senator Kamala Harris on Thursday, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle urged the left-wing lawmaker to slam President Trump over his decision not to utilize the Defense Production Act as long as numerous companies are already volunteering to produce essential medical equipment needed to combat the coronavirus pandemic. The host even laughed as her guest accused the President of “abject failure.”
Twitter released a policy stating that it would restrict and remove content that would “place people at a higher risk of transmitting COVID-19.” But while some articles are left up, other articles from conservative outlets receive the ban hammer. Conservative news outlet The Federalist was locked out of its Twitter account on March 26, 2020, for a piece written by dermatologist Douglas A. Perednia.
On Wednesday afternoon’s The Lead on CNN, host Jake Tapper trashed President Trump for “downplaying” the coronavirus’s infection rate, one month ago, before it had spread rapidly in the country. Despite the media doing the very same thing, Tapper suggested that the president alone was responsible for projecting a “false sense of security” and causing people to not take the virus seriously.
Most people never heard the term “social distancing” until a few weeks ago. Perhaps some were initially confused by it. It kinda sounds like something Don Lemon and his guests do when they run into Trump voters. A more exact term would be “physical distancing.”
Comedian Kathy Griffin’s health has taken an unexpected turn for the worse it seems, as she recently tweeted photos of herself in aa "covid19 isolation ward" suffering from what she believes to be coronavirus symptoms. The infamous Trump-bashing entertainer also took the opportunity to criticize the Trump administration’s pandemic responses.
The morning shows at both Telemundo and Univision were ablaze today with stories about the coronavirus aid package that recently passed the Senate, which provided an opportunity they did not waste to lobby for – guess what – illegal immigration.
Alex Wagner, a CBS special correspondent and co-host of Showtime's political series The Circus, has a very low threshold for Joe Biden to meet in the upcoming presidential campaign: Stay alive. Yes, according to Wagner, Biden just needs to have warm blood flowing through his body to make it across the election day finish line on November 3 and hopefully that would be enough for him to score a victory against President Trump.
If you believe the smears of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, the Trump administration is just about to release a Coronavirus policy allowing for the mass death of the elderly population. Of course, that’s not actually happening, but it didn’t stop Joe Scarborough from sliming conservatives and Republicans as bloodthirsty monsters.
Media Research Center President Brent Bozell and John-Henry Westen, the co-founder and editor in chief of LifeSiteNews, co-authored an open letter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey on Thursday. Bozell and Westen called on Twitter to reverse a decision to deactivate the account of LifeSiteNews over a tweet about a controversial transgender activist. The full letter can be found below:
