Fox News Host Dan Bongino PERMANENTLY Banned from YouTube

Three facts and you’re out? YouTube has permanently banned Fox News host and conservative commentator Dan Bongino.

The Fox News host reportedly attempted to upload a video to his main channel while YouTube suspended his secondary channel for alleged COVID-19 “misinformation.” Subsequently, YouTube permanently removed Bongino’s channel from the platform.

A YouTube spokesperson justified the ban by claiming that Bongino’s upload to his main channel while his other channel was suspended was an attempt “to circumvent the suspension.”

Bongino won’t be allowed to make any new YouTube channels in the future, and the platform will also disallow any channels associated with his name, The Hill reported. Bongino’s main channel had almost 900,000 subscribers, but he had already posted a video saying he planned to leave YouTube. The Fox News host’s weekday show, “The Dan Bongino Show,” has over 2 million subscribers on the Rumble video platform.

Rumble, a YouTube competitor, has garnered support from many conservatives and free-speech advocates, including former President Donald Trump. Bongino invested early in Rumble, which went from 2 million monthly viewers in fall 2020 to more than 30 million monthly viewers in 2021’s first quarter, The Hill wrote.

A YouTube spokesperson responded to MRC Free Speech America’s request for comment with the following statement, “We terminated Dan Bongino’s channels for circumventing our Terms of Service by posting a video while there was an active strike and suspension associated with the account. When a channel receives a strike, it is against our Terms of Service to post content or use another channel to circumvent the suspension. If a channel is terminated, the uploader is unable to use, own or create any other YouTube channels.”

Bongino recently received a strike on his secondary channel, following his claims that masks are “useless” in preventing the COVID-19 virus, which YouTube deemed “misinformation.” Ironically, the CDC director recently admitted that cloth masks are not very effective against COVID-19.
