Sheriff Bill Hollister (Stephen Dorff) is having a busy day on the February 13 episode of Deputy. It's a day made all the more complicated by getting into a car accident with Deputy Brianna Bishop (Bex Taylor-Klaus). Being in the hospital sets Bishop off, which leads to the show's reveal that the character, like Taylor-Klause, is non-binary. What's worse is when she talks to the Sheriff's wife, Dr. Paula Reyes (Yara Martinez), the doctor claims that "there are more than two sexes."
Politico published a new poll on Thursday that found 52 percent of voters believe it was inappropriate for Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, to take the job with the Ukrainian oil and gas firm Burisma, while 18 percent said it was appropriate. Fifty-seven percent said it was a scandal while 19 percent said it wasn’t. No one expects this poll will get wide circulation across the TV news landscape, since on one wants to acknowledge Hunter did anything wrong.
Our friends at Grabien flagged down a funny exchange on Thursday’s The Five as FNC co-host Greg Gutfeld lampooned both the biased jury foreman in the Roger Stone case and CNN’s breathless coverage of it as “another episode of WTW, you know Worse Than Watergate” that’s no more than a “pit crew trying to resuscitate an unconscious poodle called impeachment.”
Tameka Hart, the forewoman in the federal trial against Roger Stone, was exposed on Wednesday by Daily Caller investigative reporter Chuck Ross for once being a Democratic candidate for Congress, on top of being a staunch anti-Trump opponent. While the story continued to spread online, the liberal broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) tried to hide the revelation from their viewers.
In its quest to find moderates or even “centrists” among the Democratic field of presidential candidates to pit against the avowed leftists, the New York Times must ignore several of the candidates’ actual voting records and public policy stands. The Times has found no less than four of the Democratic candidates to be not just “moderate” but “centrist.” The paper has termed former Sen. Joe Biden (lifetime American Conservative Union rating: 12.67 out of a possible 100), Sen. Amy Klobuchar (lifetime ACU rating: 4.67), former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Pete Buttigieg as moderates or centrists.
You would think that in the 30 minute limit that NBC Nightly News has each evening they’d focus on the most important topics of the day. Does the endearing story of a transgender 9-year-old qualify? On Wednesday, anchor Lester Holt and co. figured that dredging up the story of a transgender child would be primetime network gold. Well, it would certainly be the progressive virtue signal of the week, that’s for sure.
The man whose complaints single handedly caused an entire adpocalypse on YouTube has returned to the platform to “flood its airwaves with leftist propaganda.” Carlos Maza is leaving Vox to establish his own channel according to The Verge, where he will “talk about media, propaganda, and socially conscious topics that relate to how people get their news from a progressive perspective.” The New York Times gave this “New York-based socialist” a prominent feature in their business section with two gigantic photos on separate pages.
Joe and Jill Biden appeared on The View Thursday, where they were treated to 100% gooey, softball questions in a show that looked more like a campaign rally than a media interview. While other 2020 candidates have gotten a mixture of questions from the hosts, it was clear that they weren’t willing or allowed to ask tough questions of the 2020 presidential candidate.
For the few folks still wondering why the Democrats are not doing so hot this election cycle, could it have anything to do with the fact that sham impeachments and drag queens are their priorities these days?
You know politics have gotten weird when a liberal New York Times columnist begs Democrat voters to abandon Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in favor of nominating Michael Bloomberg to lead the Democratic ticket. Times columnist Thomas L. Friedman wrote a wacky February 11, op-ed headlined “Paging Michael Bloomberg.”
An unlikely source threw cold water on the Democratic effort (backed by the liberal media) to label all non-Bernie Sanders candidates as “moderates” or centrists. Former adviser to Barack Obama Valerie Jarrett appeared on CBS This Morning, Thursday and responded to these talking points from co-host Tony Dokoupil. According to Jarrett, there's barely any difference” between the Democrats.
On Thursday, the propaganda wing of the Democratic Party, also known as MSNBC, freaked out over a recent hit piece in The Atlantic that warned of President Trump’s reelection campaign launching a “Death Star” of “propaganda, misinformation, lies, conspiracy theories” on social media. Anchor Stephanie Ruhle desperately asked: “Is there anything that can be done to stop it?”
How dangerous is a single tech-savvy conservative? Enough to politically divide Silicon Valley itself and get a CEO to rant about the future of “democracy.” Digital Content Next CEO Jason Kint, in an article-filled tweetstorm, ranted about Facebook’s free speech stance on political advertising. He condemned how the social media giant will reportedly make a profit of “$800mil in political ads,” while “being toxic to democracy [and] allowing misleading ads microtargeted at us - thereby refusing to follow their peers' leadership at Google or Twitter.”
Amid all the pro-abortion hatred one finds from Hollywood on Twitter, sitcom star Patricia Heaton is a welcome breath of fresh air. The former co-star of Everybody Loves Raymond and current star of Carol’s Second Act on CBS is a long-time pro-life activist and she blasted Democrats for their “barbaric” pro-abortion platform on Wednesday.
Comedian Samantha Bee is particularly perturbed by the existence of Dennis Prager and his online conservative media outfit “PragerU,” so much so that she devoted an entire spot segment of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee on TBS on Wednesday night to poke holes in his message.
