Hollywood continues to be rocked by Ronan Farrow articles in The New Yorker unfurling charges against powerful men, accusing them of sexual harassment and assault. The latest piece includes a second passel of accusers against CBS CEO Les Moonves, who seemed to have survived a first salvo in July. This time, Moonves is being slowly lowered into a year-long consulting gig after new and nauseating on-the-record accounts from six women.

Friday on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough took their liberal panel on the road to do their live show from Oxford, Mississippi, interviewing both Republican and Democrat candidates running for Senate races in the state. Frequent MSNBC panelist Eddie Glaude exemplified the liberal media’s bias against conservatives by asking the same question to both Democrats and Republicans, but changing his question to include a nasty smear attack on the panel’s one Republican guest.
New York Times reporter Gardiner Harris latest hit on a conservative foreign policy figure appears to have backfired in spectacular fashion. Harris's report isupposedly caught United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley for wild spending on her official residence, “Envoy’s View of City is Priceless. The Curtains? $52,000.” The text box: “A purchase was made at a time when the State Dept. was slashing its budget.” Or maybe not. The decision to purchase the curtains for the official residence, as well as the move to a new residence, was made in 2016, during the Obama administration.
On Friday’s Morning Joe, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough slammed Democrats for attempting a last-minute smear of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, pointing to the nasty attack as the reason “why a lot of people just don’t get involved in public service.” He warned liberal lawmakers pushing the vague allegations that they were “only hurting their cause.”
Joe Scarborough has been so opposed to President Donald Trump (as opposed to when he fawned all over Trump) that he even smeared him a few days ago with the absurd claim that Trump is a graver threat to the American dream than the 9/11 terrorists. Therefore it was quite surprising that on Friday's Morning Joe show, while in Mississippi observing the attitudes of voters in that state to Trump, that Scarborough said something about Trump that was so upbeat positive that the soundbite could actually be used in one of his 2020 campaign commercials.
