Evil Klingons Modeled After President Trump on 'Star Trek: Discovery'

Liberals are celebrating the links they see between the antagonists of the new Star Trek and what they believe to be the ideologies of President Trump and his supporters. The “connections” aren’t difficult to find, as co-executive producer Aaron Harberts told Rolling Stone that the “Trump phenomenon” was “front and center in our minds” in creating the new series.

In Sunday’s two premiere episodes of Star Trek: Discovery, a Klingon, T’Kuvma, tries to unify the Klingons against Starfleet’s mission for multiculturalism. To sum it up, he believes in isolationism and racial purity…and taking over the world. Or as Entertainment Weekly puts it, “war breaks out and the Klingons leading the charge have some ideological ideas inspired by the 2016 electoral divide.”

As the Klingons prepare to go to war with Starfleet, something the race hasn’t done for many years, female First Officer Michael’s (Sonequa Martin-Green) adoptive Vulcan father, Sarek, explains, “When a civilization acts in opposition to its instincts, it may be under the influence of something, or someone, new…Often such leaders will need a profound cause for their followers to rally around.” It doesn’t take long to realize the connection the show’s trying to make between Klingon unifier T’Kumva and President Trump.

By the second episode, “Battle at the Binary Stars,” the Klingons chant together, “Remain Klingon,” which liberal media interprets as ‘Make Klingons great again!’

While commenting on current events is no new feat for Star Trek, the new series is so agenda driven that it results in comically shoehorned liberal propaganda. For instance, when Starfleet shows up to stop the Klingons’ attack, the chief antagonist T’Kumva forgets he’s a war leader and hilariously yells, “They come to destroy our individuality!” Earlier, when crewmembers express worry at a mysterious object in the distance, First Officer Michael asks, “We see something we don’t understand and instantly cast judgment?” What a joke.

Speaking of liberal propaganda, in response to the NFL protests, one of the show’s main actors, Jason Isaacs, tweeted, “In the spirit of Gene Roddenberry - If I could take one knee on the bridge I would. #StarTrekDiscovery.”

So it’s clear that instead of presenting thought-provoking questions on the way we view ourselves and how we interact with the world around us, we can just expect the new Star Trek to be another outlet for liberal media to shove its agenda down our throats.
