The View co-hosts Joy Behar and Meghan McCain erupted at each other on Friday’s show over the 2020 election and the Democrat candidate choices. As McCain trashed Michael Bloomberg as unappealing to black voters and coal miners, Behar griped that Democrats were facing too much scrutiny, when Republicans “have the most racist track record.”

It was a great day for the body politic-poisoning and ethics-free CNN on Friday as the Department of Justice announced that their contributor Andrew McCabe would not be facing charges for lying. In the three shows since news broke, it was nothing but an ebullient sense of relief for the network, celebrating how “a black cloud” has lifted despite all “he has endured” and having suffered “a tremendous cost monetarily not just when it comes to sort of stress” which they unanimously panned as having been a waste.

Reporting for Friday’s Today show, NBC’s senior Washington correspondent Andrea Mitchell seemed enamored by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg “getting under the President’s skin.” In a segment designed to boost the Democratic presidential candidate’s campaign, she touted Bloomberg “saying he won’t be bullied” by President Trump.

The New York Times posted a preposterous headline over Paul Krugman's latest column: "Bernie Sanders Isn't a Socialist." But he describes himself as a socialist. Our own Dan Gainor underlined the humor of this sentence with this joke on Twitter:  "Paul Krugman isn't a columnist."  Krugman admits Bernie identifies as a socialist, but he claims socialists really mean they're social democrats, so don't smear them with the S-word.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, television network Freeform is here to remind us that media depictions of heterosexuality are so 2019. Grey’s Anatomy actor Jake Borelli spoke with TV Line about the new made-for-TV “crazy-cute gay Valentine” movie he’s starring in that premieres Saturday Feb. 15.

CBS This Morning co-host Tony Dokoupil on Friday played strategist for Bernie Sanders. Dokoupil suggested that the socialist Sanders just stop calling himself a socialist. He didn’t advise  the 2020 candidate to stop being a socialist, just to maybe not call himself that. Turning into a PR agent, Dokoupil “You have got this label stuck to you, socialist."

YouTube, once again, is doing everything it can to stop discussion about the alleged “whistleblower.” YouTube removed a clip of Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) of him speaking on the Senate floor, the National Review reported. In the video, Paul asked “why Chief Justice John Roberts had blocked a question of his, which some have speculated contained the name of the Ukraine whistleblower.” In response, he condemned the video platform, saying in a statement: “It is a chilling and disturbing day in America when giant web companies such as YouTube decide to censure speech.

On Friday, NBC’s Today show couldn’t decide if Attorney General William Barr should be celebrated for his criticism of President Trump in an ABC News interview or suspected of being “in cahoots” with the President. As the broadcast hyped Barr lamenting Trump’s penchant for tweeting about ongoing Justice Department cases, the coverage repeatedly noted Democrats “not buying” the public comments.

The nuclear family is so 20th Century. That’s what our culture is telling us repeatedly. The latest iteration comes from HGTV’s popular program House Hunters, which featured it’s very first “throuple” (a three-person polyamorous couple) in an episode that aired Wednesday night.

Washington Post media columnist Margaret Sullivan routinely decries complaints of anti-Trump media bias by calling liberal journalists the "reality-based press." Now she's suddenly feeling the pain of media bias....against a socialist from Vermont. In an article posted on Wednesday, Margaret Sullivan declared: "The media keep falling in love — with anybody but Bernie Sanders."

New York Times’ Kevin Roose profiled former Vox journalist and gay/Marxist activist in “A Thorn in YouTube’s Side Digs In Even Deeper -- Carlos Maza, a socialist who calls YouTube ‘deeply unethical and reckless,’ is trying to bolster the video site’s left wing.” Maza, whose Twitter bio refers to Tucker Carlson as a white supremacist, targeted conservative Steven Crowder in 2019. Yet in Roose’s telling, Maza and other leftists have no influence at a YouTube dominated by “reactionary politics” that must be reined in. Roose was unswervingly celebratory of Maza and contemptuous of conservatives.

MSNBC Live guest host Chris Jansing welcomed California Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu on her Thursday show for a softball interview where she asserted that Republicans are having a difficult time figuring out right from wrong. Towards the end of the segment, she again flunked basic civics.

Colin Kaepernick emerged from behind his caustic Twitter account Tuesday to use USA Today Sports as a platform for his unrepentant anti-Americanism. The NFL reject announced he's planning to release a memoir later this year through his own publishing company. It's sure to be a great stocking stuffer for social justice warriors everywhere.

On Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski says that AG Bill Barr, by saying that some of President Trump's tweets make it impossible for Barr to do his job, is actually saying is "that these tweets make it harder for Bill Barr to help him be corrupt."

NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit hasn’t touched upon immigration issues in a while, though it wasn’t shy about its view on abortions just a few months ago. But from what they’ve done before, it’s clear that the show believes that all legal and illegal immigrants are victims of the evil government and President Trump. This time around, they take things to a whole new level by accusing border defenders of being rapists as well.
