Today’s Hollywood liberals are so vicious that the few conservatives in their midst must operate in secret to preserve their careers.

“If an actor comes out for Ted Cruz, they’ll be demonized,” actress Morgan Brittany told The Hollywood Reporter Oct. 22. “I was an actor for 50 years. I’ve done my Hollywood thing. They can’t hurt me. But I feel sorry for people who can’t speak their mind.”

“Show me the money,” Jerry Maguire famously shouted in the 1996 film.

Hollywood wants everyone to show it the money. Hollywood wouldn’t have glitz and glamour if people weren’t plunking down their credit cards at the local theater or watching their home DVRs or streaming new episodes to other devices. Ironically, for a multibillion industry, TV and film frequently depict the individuals and businesses trying to make money as corrupt, immoral and even murderous. American teens and young adults are very likely to be influenced by soaking up those views.

On Thursday night, CBS continued to make no mention of the news that the hacking attack on Sony Pictures has revealed emails between co-chairwoman Amy Pascal and film producer Scott Rudin mocking what they perceived to be President Barack Obama’s movie tastes.

The CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley covered continued fallout from the attack, but only in the context of no press being allowed at the premiere of the Sony film The Interview, which is largely believed to be the reason that the movie studio was targeted for attack.
