MSNBC Panel Slams GOP Governors Where ObamaCare 'Isn't Going Very Well,' '10,000 People a Year That Will Die'

On the Saturday, April 19, Disrupt, as MSNBC's Karen Finney hosted a discussion of ObamaCare noting that President Obama has started encouraging Democrats to brag about the program, guest Dana Milbank of the Washington Post blamed Republican governors for hurting Democratic Senators in red states as he charged that in some states "ObamaCare isn't going very well because of those Republican governors."

A bit later, Zerlina Maxwell of The Grio asserted that 10,000 people a year will die because of Republican governors who have refused to expand Medicare.

After Finney played a clip of President Obama boasting about ObamaCare, Milbank responded:

With the wheels coming off of ObamaCare, liberals are desperately searching for a way to go back on the attack against Republicans. On Saturday’s Weekends with Alex Witt, Zerlina Maxwell of TheGrio.com trotted out a months-old strategy: attack Republicans for pushing the supposedly “phony” Benghazi scandal.

Asked for her opinion on the Republicans’ investigation of the Benghazi attack, Maxwell spit out the liberal narrative that we heard a lot of earlier this year:

The focus of fiery discussion during Fox News Channel programs on Wednesday morning was the controversy over a rodeo clown at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia who wore a mask that resembled President Barack Obama and was banned from the event for life as a result.

The hosts of Fox & Friends stated that “presidents have been fodder for jokes before, and nothing happened to those people,” while a conservative guest on that morning's edition of America's Newsroom charged that liberals “believe you get to talk, and everyone else shuts up.”

Forget the journalistic norms of objectivity and fairness. According to MSNBC’s Ed Schultz and his Saturday Ed Show panel, Reince Priebus’ campaign against the liberal media is all about a weak crop of 2016 GOP presidential candidates.

Schultz and guests railed against the Republican National Committee (RNC) chairman on Saturday’s The Ed Show, with Salon’s Joan Walsh concluding that Priebus is a “big cry baby” who’s trying to hide his “crackpot set of candidates in 2016.” Comedian Lizz Winstead agreed, describing the potential set of Republican presidential candidates as a “flotilla of fail.”
