On Friday's New Day, when co-host Alisyn Camerota brought up Hillary Clinton being asked a question about her husband's history of forcible rape and other sexual assaults, CNN's John King whitewashed the accusations against former President Bill Clinton as he only vaguely recounted the behavior, and even ended up lamenting that the question must have been a "sad trip" and "not a pleasant trip down memory lane" for Hillary Clinton.
King downplayed the forcible rape accusation by Juanita Broaddrick merely as "conduct he (Bill Clinton) said never happened," after referring to Paula Jones's charge that included indecent exposure merely as "pressuring her."

During a discussion of Wednesday's interview with GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush on New Day, CNN's John King gave a glimpse into the negative mindset of media liberals toward former President George W. Bush such that they have difficulty paying any sort of compliment toward him without having to insert a qualifier like "whatever you think about him."

As CNN's John King made appearances on the news network on Thursday to discuss the race to replace House Speaker John Boehner, the CNN correspondent suggested that conservative Tea Party members lack understanding of Civics 101 in trying to press their agenda in the House. In a later appearance, after the announcement that Rep. Kevin McCarthy was dropping out of the race, King used the words "hostage crisis" to describe the situation.

Sunday on Reliable Sources, Brian Stelter brought Jay Carney and John King to the program to discuss CBS reporter Major Garrett’s controversial question to President Obama about Iran. Garrett asked the president whether he could be content with the Iran deal knowing that there were four hostages still in Iran.

On Sunday’s Inside Politics, Daily Beast reporter Jackie Kucinich, formerly with USA Today and the Washington Post, criticized former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley from the left after he told a group of liberal activists in Arizona over the weekend: “Black lives matter, white lives matter, all lives matter.” Kucinich quickly blasted O’Malley for “saying all lives matter, particularly when you're talking about this movement, is just tone deaf, it misses the point.”

On Tuesday's Anderson Cooper 360 on CNN, the New York Times' Maggie Haberman did her best to downplay Hillary Clinton's weaknesses, particularly in light of her recent interview with CNN's Brianna Keilar. Haberman asserted that the former first lady was "uneven" during the interview, but quickly added that Mrs. Clinton is "somebody who tends to get better over time." The journalist also played up how "in smaller settings, she [Clinton] tends to be warm, engaging, funny."

Following President Obama’s statement on Supreme Court’s ruling Friday morning to legalize gay marriage in all 50 states, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer couldn’t help but marvel at how “years from now, historians will write about this week – amazing week here in the United States” as President Obama saw favorable rulings on ObamaCare and gay marriage in addition to Congress passing “his free trade authority legislation.” As the President left the podium at the White House Rose Garden, Blitzer reminded viewers that Obama was speaking “[f]or the second day in a row” so he could “applaud a major historic United States Supreme Court decision.”

Thursday's CNN Newsroom hyped the Supreme Court's decision that again upheld ObamaCare as a "huge win for the President of the United States," as Wolf Blitzer put it. Gloria Borger and John King tied the Court decision to Congress passing the President's fast-track trade legislation earlier in the week. Borger trumpeted, "You have trade legislation being approved – huge win for the President. You have this reaffirmation of ObamaCare...huge for his legacy." King added, "This may well be the best week of his second term."
