Stand-up comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld cracked up the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special audience with a joke at Brian Williams’ expense. Right before the star of NBC’s Seinfeld went into a Question and Answer bit with the audience full of celebrities, he mocked the suspended NBC Nightly News anchor.

The following joke aired on NBC’s February 15 Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary special:

JERRY SEINFELD: Thank you, thank you very much. Hello, everyone. It is a pleasure to be here. You know there are so many things about Saturday Night Live that people don’t know. Like for example, I just found out that one of the original cast members in 1975 was Brian Williams. I didn’t, I don’t know if that’s true. But I never heard that. It doesn’t sound true. It might, it might not, it might not be.
