Joy Behar told MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough Tuesday, “You sure look gay in those pants.”

Such happened on ABC’s The View when Scarborough showed up wearing pink pants (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

As Scarborough and co-host Mika Brzezinski walked out on the stage, they were both hugged by Behar and Sherri Shepherd.

Behar could be heard saying something to Scarborough like “You look gay,” with Scarborough responding, “Do I look gay?”

Once they all sat down, Barbara Walters said to Brzezinski, “You look great.” She then looked at Scarborough saying, “But you? The pink pants? You are a number.”

Scarborough replied, “I was walking in here, I’m on Upper West Side, and I’m thinking, ‘This is a very, you know, you’re very enlightened, you’re very progressive.’ I go past, and I’m kissing everybody, because that’s what you do, the sisterhood.”

Looking at Behar, he continued, “And she goes, ‘You sure look gay in those pants.’”

Behar nodded her head agreeing, “I happen to like a gay look.”

“Not that there’s anything wrong with that,” Brzezinski injected channeling her best Seinfeld.

“Maybe I do, too,” said Scarborough.

Joe, you’ve come a long way, baby!
