As NewsBusters reported, NBC announced Saturday that it will be airing a four-hour miniseries about Hillary Clinton.

Shortly after the announcement, NBC's chief White House correspondent Chuck Todd tweeted, "NBC News has nothing to do w/Clinton mini series":

Just want to get this out of the way now: NBC News has nothing to do w/Clinton mini series on NBC entertainment. So save your complaints

Can already imagine how either Clinton lovers or haters will assume some sort of NBC News involvement. Trust me, we have day jobs.

Todd and his colleagues better get used to criticism concerning this, especially if it predictably turns out that NBC has created a four-hour puff piece specifically designed to present the former first lady in as favorable a light imaginable in order to assist her coronation.
