How does Bill Maher keep his job at HBO?

On Thursday he tweeted, "Man, #HermanCain is making a comeback - says he likes working with Fox team, particularly some of them fine-ass white women they got there":

I'm almost beyond words.

Can you imagine Maher making the same joke about a black liberal man? Or what HBO's response would be if he did?

Might be the end of his career.

But because it's about a black conservative man, he'll probably get a raise.

How pathetic.
