The major broadcast networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC all omitted from their Wednesday evening newscasts the latest noteworthy comment from Vice President Joe Biden that the Republican Party is “beating” up Hispanics but instead continued harping on Ben Carson’s response to how he’d react if he came face-to-face with a mass shooter.

Despite teasing a new poll showing a “stunning” fall for Hillary Clinton, ABC’s Good Morning America on Friday only allowed seconds to the subject. According to a WMUR poll, Clinton trails Bernie Sanders by 16 points in New Hampshire. Robin Roberts opened the show by trumpeting, “And the stunning new poll showing Hillary Clinton falling further behind in a make-or-break state.” Yet, the actual segment only totaled 19 seconds.

On Monday, ABC’s World News Tonight and the CBS Evening News failed to devote a full story to Republican Governor Scott Walker (Wisc.) dropping out of the 2016 presidential campaign with the latter only giving Walker a combined 57 seconds at the beginning and end of a report on Ben Carson’s comments about a hypothetical president who was Muslim.

Friday's CBS Evening News stood out for not covering Hillary Clinton's interview with NBC's Andrew Mitchell. The newscast didn't even mention the former first lady during their 2016 election coverage. Instead, Scott Pelley played up how Donald Trump "seems to stumble a lot, but never seems to fall" – specifically, his confused answers on foreign policy during an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt. Pelley also covered Vice President Joe Biden "agonizing publicly about whether he would run" for president.

While it may be a shock that the major broadcast networks on Thursday night reported that Hillary Clinton compared Republicans to “terrorists” on women’s health, it was far from a surprise that ABC and NBC openly cheered her for “coming out swinging” “on the offensive” with some “tough talk.” In addition, ABC, CBS, and NBC all refused to denounce Clinton’s comparison even though they chastised the use of the term “anchor baby” by Donald Trump and Jeb Bush.

In the first major network news program since 2016 GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump sparred with liberal Fusion/Univision anchor Jorge Ramos at a press conference on the subject of illegal immigration, ABC’s Nightline was there to circle the wagons for their Disney partner and “America’s best known Latino anchorman.”

Activist ABC journalist Tom Llamas on Friday took to his third straight program to rail using of the term "anchor baby." Llamas's confrontation with Donald Trump aired on Thursday's Good Morning America and World News. The reporter replayed it yet again on Friday. Llamas yelled, "Are you aware the term anchor baby, that an offensive term? People find that hurtful!" As though he were some sort of neutral third party observer, the correspondent covered the furor he helped create: "Now, both Trump and Bush are facing tough questions about the term anchor babies..."
