Continuing to show viewers that the routine mocking of conservatives wouldn’t end with Jon Stewart’s departure, new Daily Show host Trevor Noah savaged the pro-life movement on Monday night and lamented that they aren’t devout advocates for gun control which Noah argued is “an issue where the facts” would be “actually on their side.”

Chris Matthews on Thursday, filling in for Andrea Mitchell on Andrea Mitchell Reports, interviewed Congressman Jason Chaffetz. Rather than discussing the current investigation, which the Congressman leads, into Planned Parenthood's finances, Matthews grilled Chaffetz on his opinion of the stillborn footage included in a Center for Medical Progress video. He also lectured Chaffetz to watch more Hardball.

From its perspective, Planned Parenthood has had another unfortunate week, what with congressional hearings making it hard for the media to keep ignoring the videos showing that the nation’s largest abortion mill sells pieces of the babies it kills.
But the unfortunate organization is indeed fortunate in its friends. After Planned Parenthood honcho Cecile Richards testified before Congress on Tuesday, Daniel Handler took to twitter to make an announcement regarding the abortion chain.
Handler, better known by his pen name Lemony Snicket and author of A Series of Unfortunate Events, promised he and wife Lisa Brown would donate a whopping $1 million to Planned Parenthood.

CNN's Wolf Blitzer hounded Rep. Jason Chaffetz on Wednesday's Situation Room over his hearing on Planned Parenthood's federal funding, and carried water for the abortion giant. Blitzer quibbled over a chart that was used at the hearing that showed the increase in abortions that Planned Parenthood did, and a concurrent decrease in the number of cancer screenings and other preventive services it does. He then touted a chart from the left-wing Vox site that supposedly "gives a more accurate reflection of what was going on."

During his segment on the Wednesday edition of MSNBC’s All In attacking Speaker of the House candidate Kevin McCarthy for his comments about Hillary Clinton and the Benghazi Committee, host Chris Hayes made quite the choice of liberal pundits in none other than failed Texas Democratic gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis, who compared McCarthy and the panel to the “witch-hunt” against Planned Parenthood.

On Wednesday's CNN Newsroom, anchor Carol Costello defended federal funding for Planned Parenthood in a segment which included conservative CNN commentator S.E. Cupp and liberal CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill supposedly for balance, but was so slanted to the left that Cupp quipped that "I love doing your show because I know I'll get to debate two liberals."

Ultraliberal Senator Barbara Boxer appeared on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell show on Tuesday, doing her darndest to try and create another fictional case of “the war against women” by defending Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards and her almost-$600,000 salary and taking pot-shots at presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina.
Mitchell gently asked Boxer “Do you think that that is an inappropriately high salary for someone working in women’s health services?” Boxer responded: “Absolutely, I do not think it is. If you look at CEO salaries across the board, and Cecile Richards essentially puts her life on the line in this job.”

In three previous posts yesterday and today, I have noted obvious distortions and untruths in Cecile Richards' testimony this week before a House committee.
I didn't mean to save the best (really the worst) for a fourth post, but I came across an jaw-dropping item at LifeNews.com this afternoon. It covers an assertion Richards made during the House hearing that is either one of the biggest lies of the 21st century thus far or its most glaring example of hermetically sealed ignorance. Either way, the fact that it hasn't made its way into the establishment press virtually proves that their mission is to protect Richards and her organization, not to tell its readers, listeners and viewers what is really happening.

On Wednesday's New Day on CNN, co-anchor Alisyn Camerota repeatedly fretted over the possibility that cutting off federal funding of Planned Parenthood would make it difficult for women to get abortions. In one segment, she asserted that, in doing so, "obviously it does take away a woman's right to choose."
In a later segment, she suggested that defunding Planned Parenthood would lead women to have abortions "in a more desperate way," and, speaking to GOP Rep. Diane Black, demanded: "Is that what you want for American women?" As he plugged the first segment on the issue at 6:16 a.m., co-anchor Chris Cuomo tagged Planned Parenthood's activities as "lawful," as if this characterization were not in dispute: Cuomo:

Despite the fitting title, the left still refuse to give up their “gold mine” with the statements Fiorina made at the last CNN Presidential Debates.

On Wednesday's New Day, CNN's Chris Cuomo acted more like a pro-Planned Parenthood prosecutor than a journalist in his ten-minute-plus interview of David Daleiden. Cuomo repeatedly badgered Daleiden – who managed the undercover project that uncovered the abortion giant's sale of aborted babies' organs and tissues – over the summary videos of the footage his organization shot. He also touted how "Planned Parenthood – and other people who see [them] – says no; you doctored them. You're doctoring it to make it seem like what you want it to be."
