Don't you love it when liberals ridicule conservatives as idiots while said liberals do something idiotic? Yeah, watching this is one of my favorite hobbies too, one that guarantees an endless stream of amusing fodder.
Latest example comes by way of Bill Press's radio show yesterday. Press, a former California Democratic Party chief and co-host of an earlier iteration of the cable show "Crossfire," was listening to his producer, Peter Ogburn, run through a daily news brief when this exchange could be heard (audio) --

Bill Press shouldn't hold his breath waiting to be named marshal in any upcoming gay pride parades.
The ex-"Crossfire" host and his radio show producer took time from their daily adoration of cradle-to-grave government dependency to malign the husband of GOP congresswoman Michele Bachmann in a manner that would lead to harassment, torched effigies and threats of violence if any conservative did likewise. Radical talk show host Bill Press couldn't resist bashing Pope Benedict XVI one last time on Monday as the news broke that the pontiff would be abdicating at the end of February. Press, along with sidekick Peter Ogburn and regular guest John Fugelsang, forwarded common misconceptions from the left about Benedict's reign as pope and his previous work as Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, especially his handling of the priest sex abuse scandal.
Fugelsang cracked, "It's my understanding that he wants to...devote more time to running the Catholic Church into the ground in the private sector." The left-wing radio host, who mocked the Pope for joining Twitter in December 2012, agreed wholeheartedly: "He's done a good job of running it into the ground from the Vatican – that's for sure." While every liberal journalist and their sister is busy flogging the desperate "binders full of women" attack meme against Mitt Romney today, MediaBistro's Peter Ogburn took time to note that Playboy is ginning their election season push against the former Massachusetts governor and his alleged "war on your sex life." Ironically, Playboy is the original mass-marketed binder full of [naked] women, a pioneer in the pornification of the culture and the objectification of women.
For his part, of course, Ogburn joshes around about nudie mag giving a platform to "author and activist Nancy L. Cohen" -- who back in September suggested on AlterNet that Romney is a "Mormon militant" -- a platform to lambaste the supposed puritanical, asexual Romney with her laughably ludicrous prediction of what America will look like sexually in 2014 (emphasis mine):
