During the opening monologue of Tuesday’s Late Show on CBS, David Letterman channeled his inner Chris Matthews in professing his admiration for President Barack Obama following his appearance on Monday’s program by declaring that “you can feel the electricity in the room” whenever he’s on the program.

Despite President Obama deciding to impose executive orders to curb carbon emissions, polls routinely show Americans almost completely unconcerned about global warming with it not even showing up when people are asked about national priorities.

It appears now that Paul Ryan has been named Mitt Romney's running mate, CBS Late Show host David Letterman feels obligated to attack him every evening.
