On Friday afternoon, National Organization for Women (NOW) President Terry O’Neill took to the airwaves of MSNBC Live and instead of praising Carly Fiorina’s debate performance or her response to Donald Trump’s comments about her looks, O’Neill callously tore into Fiorina’s opposition to Planned Parenthood and declared that she “supports policies that kill women.”

Late night comedian Conan O’Brien cracked a crude joke on Monday night at the expense of female Fox News anchors and specifically Jenna Lee and Sandra Smith as he displayed a fake book entitled Fox News Anchor or Porn Star. As part of a larger piece on (fake) books that failed to sell a significant number of copies, Conan quipped: “Here's a book – a coffee table book that just didn't sell. It's called Fox News Anchor or Porn Star? You have to figure it out. Very hard – I say anchor.”

Appearing on the Thursday edition of MSNBC’s All In with Chris Hayes, National Organization for Women (NOW) President Terry O’Neill ripped critics of Hillary Clinton from the 1990s to the present for leveling “silly” attacks on the Democratic presidential candidate as she’s looking to “bring another sea change to our politics.”

When it comes to a manufactured issue such as unequal pay between men and women, a disparity that exists only in the aggregate and evaporates among individuals, you can expect to hear a fair number of suspect claims.

But an assertion made by National Organization for Women president Terry O'Neill while a guest on Ed Schultz's radio show last week, talking about the proposed Paycheck Fairness Act, went beyond suspicious toward something more closely resembling the inane. (Audio) --
