On Saturday, the “big three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC continued to prove why the liberal media loves congratulating itself for their so-called accomplishments as the morning and evening newscasts spent nearly four minutes (without teases) cheering the “historic” decision by The New York Times to publish a “dramatic” front-page editorial chiding gun rights advocates and pushing for massive gun control/confiscation.

As questions began to be raised regarding Hillary Clinton’s dubious claim that she once tried to join the Marines in 1975, on Friday, only NBC’s Today briefly noted the controversy, with co-host Savannah Guthrie warning: “Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton is facing scrutiny about a story from her past that she repeated on the campaign trail this week, and it could come up at tomorrow's debate.”

Appearing on Friday’s NBC Today, Bloomberg Politics managing editor John Heilemann saw a rapidly closing window for Joe Biden to enter the presidential race: “...if he's making a calculation on the political landscape, it's more forbidding now than it was a month ago. Amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server, on Tuesday NBC’s Today rushed to promote former President Bill Clinton’s efforts to defend his wife from criticism. News reader Tamron Hall introduced the segment by touting “Hillary Clinton is dispatching her not so secret weapon, her husband and former president to help her weather the e-mail storm” and then turned to White House correspondent Kristen Welker to continue to tout the former president’s actions.

Hours after 2016 Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina sparred with NBC’s Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd over the Planned Parenthood videos, Sunday’s NBC Nightly News similarly went to bat for the abortion provider against Fiorina as White House correspondent Kristen Welker scolded Fiorina for promoting videos with “doctored and unrelated footage.”

On Saturday morning, the major broadcast networks were at it again in bashing the “far-right” and “unruly hardliners” in the House Republican caucus for causing Speaker John Boehner’s impending resignation announced Friday that CBS added could hurt the party’s chances in 2016 if the “infighting” continues.

ABC, CBS, and NBC 's evening newscasts on Friday all failed to cover Hillary Clinton's latest inflammatory attack on Republicans in which she made a thinly-veiled comparison to the Holocaust: "I find it the height of irony that a party, which espouses small government, would want to unleash a massive law enforcement effort...to go and literally pull people out of their homes and their workplaces, round them up, put them...in buses, boxcars – in order to take them across our border."

While it may be a shock that the major broadcast networks on Thursday night reported that Hillary Clinton compared Republicans to “terrorists” on women’s health, it was far from a surprise that ABC and NBC openly cheered her for “coming out swinging” “on the offensive” with some “tough talk.” In addition, ABC, CBS, and NBC all refused to denounce Clinton’s comparison even though they chastised the use of the term “anchor baby” by Donald Trump and Jeb Bush.
