But in The Washington Post Magazine on Sunday, EPA boss Gina McCarthy was awarded a syrupy Q&A from reporter Joe Heim titled “Creating the environment for change.”

Though such instances are quite rare, especially from conservative and Republican office-holding politicians and bureaucrats, we've been told time and again by the left that it's people on the right who demonize and dehumanize their opponents.
Well, I don't recall George W. Bush, anyone in his administration, or any Republican congressman or senator serving at the time of his tax cuts or during the Iraq War characterizing their political opposition as not being "normal people." (Considering the out-of-control conduct of and statements made by many opponents, the temptation to do so must have been nearly overwhelming.) Readers can be sure that if they had, outfits like the Hill and the Assocated Press would have reported it. So why did those two news organizations ignore what they heard from EPA head Gina McCarthy at a White House climate change summit earlier this week?
Kyle Drennen noted that EPA chief Gina McCarthy appeared on MSNBC on Thursday so Andrea Mitchell could ask how she was going to deal with "climate deniers" as Team Obama pushes for rigid limits on carbon emissions. At least Mitchell read a statement from GOP Sen. Jim Inhofe calling the Obama deal with China a "non-binding charade."
On Thursday morning's New Day on CNN, host Chris Cuomo opened with a wiffle ball, mocking Senator Inhofe's 2012 interview with a Christian radio station (acting like a DNC-Think Progress publicist).
In a softball interview with Environmental Protection Agency administrator Gina McCarthy on Thursday, MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell teed up the Obama administration official to dismiss legitimate Republican criticism of the President's climate deal with China: "I wanted to ask you of course about this major breakthrough with China. And the criticism already from many Republicans....What are you facing as you approach climate deniers...now that you have, you know, the Republicans in charge?"
CNN’s Jake Tapper interviewed Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy on his The Lead with Jake Tapper program on Monday, June 2 and used the opportunity to hit the Obama official over new regulations aimed at reducing CO2 emissions by 30 percent by the year 2030.
Throughout the discussion, Tapper grilled McCarthy over the lack of Democratic support for the new regulations and how “You can't get anything through Congress on this and not just the Republican House but also the Democratic-controlled Senate?” [See video below.]
During her 12 p.m. ET hour MSNBC show on Tuesday, host Andrea Mitchell teed up Environmental Protection Agency administrator Gina McCarthy to promote a new White House report on climate change and push President Obama's left-wing environmentalist agenda: "Let's imagine for a moment that there's a baby being born right now....What future does this child face if nothing is done? McCarthy replied: "We know the dangers of climate change. We see rising sea levels, we see rising temperatures as going to result in more ozone and that means more asthma attacks for our kids moving forward."
