On her self-titled MSNBC show Tuesday night, Rachel Maddow used the current feud between Fox News and Donald Trump to attack the news network as nothing more than an arm of the Republican Party. Maddow admitted that Fox was a “competitor of ours at MSNBC” but dismissed them as a news outlet and merely “Republican Party television. So we not only compete with them but we also cover them as a political entity, you have to if you want to cover Republican politics. So, in that context I have been covering FOX News as a Republican political entity for years now.” 

Charles Lane, an editorial writer for The Washington Post, believes that Republicans are wasting their time discussing border violence and crime caused by illegal aliens because “It’s not a real issue.” Lane appeared on a special report with Fox News’s Bret Baier, and took on the topic with a panel that included conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham, and weekly Baier panelist Charles Krauthammer.

The liberal media spend an inordinate amount of time fawning over Hollywood actors and reality stars who come out in support of liberal politicians and causes. They are less interested in those who embrace conservative beliefs and issues. The most recent example of this is a Marco Rubio endorsement ad by Rick Harrison of the History Channel’s hit reality show, Pawn Stars.

It took six television interviews but Hillary Clinton was finally asked questions that have remained absent during her book tour to promote “Hard Choices.” 

On Tuesday, June 17 Clinton sat down with Fox News anchors Bret Baier and Greta Van Susteren and for the first time on television was asked about the IRS’ targeting of conservatives, the NSA spying on Americans, and the American marine held captive in Mexico. [See video below.] 

When it comes to TV punditry, there's your garden variety liberal talking points, and then there's your absurdly over-the-top liberal spin. Fox News contributor Juan Williams opted to offer the latter in an appearance today when he hinted that, if anything, President Obama cares a little too much about America's military veterans.

Appearing on the 11 a.m. Eastern hour on Fox News's Happening Now along with New York Post columnist Charlie Hurt, Williams insisted that President Obama has nearly gone "overboard" in his support of veterans. This response came, however, to a simple question from host Jon Scott: "[I]f, as the president said this was one of the causes of his presidency, why hasn't it [the persistent problems with the VA] been fixed?"
