One of the most controversial remarks made by Hillary Clinton -- a 2016 Democratic presidential candidate -- during her interview with MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow on Friday night came when the party's frontrunner quoted “a number of surveys” that claimed “overall, veterans who get treated” in Veterans Administration facilities “are satisfied with their treatment.”

That remark drew a challenge from retired U.S. Marine Brandon Coleman, who on Monday told Elisabeth Hasselbeck -- one of the hosts of the weekday morning Fox & Friends program -- that he was prepared to give Clinton a tour of the Phoenix VA facility “whenever she wants to do it, unannounced.”

During a panel discussion on race relations on Sean Hannity's Fox News Channel program on Wednesday evening, senior correspondent Geraldo Rivera grumbled that he saw basketball player LeBron James wearing a T-shirt that displayed the words “I Can't Breathe.”

That phrase, Rivera said, obviously referred to Eric Garner, the Staten Island man “who was choked to death in that horrifying video that we all saw.”

Never let it be said that Jon Stewart allowed a chance to slam the Fox News Channel slip through his fingers -- even when to do so, he has to apologize for making a blunder on The Daily Show on the Comedy Central cable television channel

During his Monday evening edition, the liberal host said he was sorry for including Dante Parker of San Bernardino County in California in a list of black men who were recently shot and killed by white police officers.

During Wednesday evening's edition of The Daily Show on the Comedy Central cable network, comedian Lewis Black devoted his “Back in Black” segment to slamming the tradition of Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving and a time when stores open early and shoppers arrive before the sun comes up to buy items at huge discounts.

Black claimed that even worse than the rush to get tremendous bargains is the practice of “taxing” stores in malls that stay closed so their employees can spend the time with their families. “That’s the most anti-American thing I’ve ever heard!” Black exclaimed. “It’s like Sharia law for capitalism!”

Ever since Jeff Zucker took the reins of the Cable News Network in January of 2013, he has made many significant changes in that channel's programming. His most popular move has been a shift from solid news to more reality shows, such as Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown and The Hunt With John Walsh.

However, that change has also drawn fire from such people as Jon Stewart, host of The Daily Show on the Comedy Central cable channel, who launched a campaign on the Kickstarter website to raise $10 billiion to buy CNN because it's been “terrible for many, many years.”

One of the most outspoken conservatives in the past few years has been Sarah Palin, the former governor of Alaska who was the GOP candidate for vice president alongside Arizona senator John McCain during the 2008 presidential election and a contributor on the Fox News Channel from Jan. 19, 2009, to Jan. 25, 2013, when she withdrew from the network staff to focus on “broadening her message of common-sense conservatism across the country.”

Less than five months later, the cable channel announced that Palin will return as a political analyst next Monday, a move that was hailed by Greta Van Susteren, host of the weeknight On the Record program, who wrote in an email to Politico.com that she is “delighted to have her back at Fox” because "it will drive her critics crazy!"

Unlike the liberal media who are engaging in a full-scale blackout of the scandal in Libya, Friday’s Fox & Friends engaged in a vigorous debate over the attack on our Embassy in Benghazi.

Fox News Channel liberal contributor Geraldo Rivera engaged in a full-out shouting match with conservative-leaning co-hosts Steve Doocy and Eric Bolling.  During the back-and-forth, Geraldo’s main argument was thus: [See video below. MP3 audio here.]
