Last night’s winter finale of the new ABC drama Quantico and was chockfull of unrealistic politics – and unintentional comedy! The present day storyline of the episode “Inside” had the Democratic National Convention starting in New York City the day after Grand Central Station was bombed and over 100 people were killed. Right, the DNC would TOTALLY take place as scheduled the day after a terrorist bombing in the same city!

Veteran MSNBC watchers have surely noticed the Obama-loving network's extreme hostility to black Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson. These attacks and the pressure against Carson, compared to other Republicans in the race, has been intense. As a black conservative, Dr. Carson has taken extreme criticism and scrutiny for his words.

Friday's Morning Joe featured a discussion by the roundtable on the subject of the debates and the fairness needed for them. While Newsbusters previously discussed Morning Joe's discussion on the bias of moderators, Morning Joe also discussed their surprise and support of Dr. Ben Carson, who has come out leading the change to reform these debates.

Friday on MBSNC’s NewsNation, Tamron Hall addressed Ben Carson’s statements on gun control and how he would have dealt with the gunman at Umpqua. Tamron would entertain the attacks on Carson by Matt K. Lewis and Joan Walsh. Lewis accused Carson of opining where he shouldn't and should know better. While adding her own allegation that Carson would have tried to have the children assault a gunman, Hall appeared to confuse the status of college students at Umpqua with those of elementary school children at Newtown. Finally, Walsh attacked Carson supporters, claiming they have an appetite for cruel and delusional comments.

With Republican Ben Carson rising in the presidential polls, liberals have been searching for a way to bring down the former neurosurgeon, and Trevor Noah -- the new host of The Daily Show on the cable television Comedy Channel -- tried his best on Wednesday night by claiming that having hostages attack gunmen so fewer people get shot is “crazy.”
“The GOP race is heating up,” Noah began. “Donald Trump is still in the lead with 25 percent in the polls, but right behind him … and graining ground ... is this man:” Carson, who said in a clip that “I'm very concerned about the future of our children. Of course, you know, I prepare every day, and I'm learning more things every day.”

At the Family Research Council’s Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C. Friday, GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson slammed the media as elitists who “just don’t get it.” He explained how the media use their position of power to mislead the public by sharing a recent anecdote where a reporter took his words out of context.

Jonathan Martin, perhaps the most condescending of the New York Times stable of GOP-hostile political reporters, eagerly condemned the entire Republican presidential field as childish and divisive in "Without Calming Voice, G.O.P. Is Letting Divisive Ones Speak on Muslims." Reacting to a critical comment by candidate Dr. Ben Carson about the possibility of a Muslim presidency, Martin took the opportunity to smear the Republican Party en masse, noting that "For Democrats, there is an opening to use the criticism of Islam to portray Republicans as intolerant, reinforcing an image that has damaged the party’s brand."

CNN's Brianna Keilar badgered Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson on Thursday's Wolf program over his recent comment on LGBT issues: "I didn't remember any times when there were signs up that says...gay people have to drink at this fountain. I was a little irritated." Keilar repeatedly asked Carson: "Do you think that gay Americans are discriminated against?" When the candidate refused to give a direct answer, the journalist reprimanded him: "If you're running for president, I think it's fair to ask you this question. Part of being a candidate is to answer questions."

Even though the 2016 presidential election is more than 16 months away, two cable news outlets announced on Wednesday the criteria for the first two GOP debates.
The initial event, which will be hosted by the Fox News Channel and take place on Thursday, August 6, at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, will be moderated by network anchors Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace.

After telling CNN’s Chris Cuomo March. 4 that being gay is “absolutely a choice” after being prodded to answer whether sexual orientation was genetic or not, the media pounced on Ben Carson’s comments, with a particularly vile attack by Dan Savage directed at the possible GOP presidential candidate.

While the liberal media was preoccupied spinning Friday’s tragic UCSB shooting to promote their anti-gun agenda, Ed Schultz of MSNBC’s The Ed Show devoted some time on his May 27 program to berating world-renowned neurosurgeon and conservative author Dr. Ben Carson for using the VA scandal to promote his own “anti-Obamacare agenda.”
Schultz blasted Dr. Carson’s efforts to tie in the VA scandal to a larger critique of ObamaCare as cravenly “twisting a tragedy.” As icing on the cake, Schultz grossly took one line of Carson’s out of context to suggest that the doctor was disparaging American veterans and, worse, that he’d love to see more of them injured in future military conflicts.
