Joining fill-in host Shannon Bream on Thursday’s Kelly File to comment on the latest shooting in Ferguson, Missouri, Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke demanded that “the liberal mainstream media” stop their charade as “the propaganda wing” of the Black Lives Matter movement that Clarke has dubbed the “Black Lies Matter” movement.

On Tuesday's New Day, CNN gave attention to recent surges in violent crime in American cities, including Milwaukee, as it brought aboard Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke as a guest to give his take on why the spike has occurred.
Sheriff Clarke, an elected Democrat, began by making a conservative argument against "failed social engineering projects," as he advocated longer prison sentences, before complaining about "slime" being thrown at American police officers by the "political class."
After co-host Alisyn Camerota brought up a Justice Department investigation into the Milwaukee police from 2011, Clarke let loose on the Justice Department for making his job more difficult.

On Tuesday night’s Hannity, Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke slammed the ”liberal mainstream media” for ”propagating this false narrative about how law enforcement treats black males and people in the black community” in places like Baltimore and Ferguson. He accused the media of ginning up “race politics. They support a lot of the leftist agenda when it comes to this stuff, identity politics....they have become the mouthpiece, they have become the propaganda wing of leftist policy and leftist ideology.”

Continuing to harass pro-gun advocates, CNN's Piers Morgan attacked a Wisconsin sheriff who had encouraged citizens to own a firearm for self-defense. Morgan interrupted his guest repeatedly and tried to frame him as a loony Wild West gunman.
"What you're creating is a return to the Wild West in Milwaukee," Morgan insisted on Tuesday night's Piers Morgan Tonight. "You do these racy, Hollywood-style adverts. You want them all out there armed and shooting."
