Media Research Center president Brent Bozell called on NBC to formally apologize for the outrageous "killing spree" statement that network correspondent Ayman Mohyeldin made on the January 29 edition of Morning Joe. Of course, Mohyeldin's nasty anti-American comments should come as no surprise, Bozell reminded host Megyn Kelly, noting how the Palestinian journalist got his start in major-network journalism.

Appearing on Fox News's Hannity Thursday night, NewsBusters publisher and Media Research Center president Brent Bozell condemned the network news for its lack of coverage of the brutal oppression of Fidel Castro's communist regime in the wake of President Obama reopening diplomatic relations with Cuba: "[Castro] has been a mythological figure to the left-wing press since the 1950s. They – for 40 years they've chosen to ignore the repressive nature of this Stalinist regime that has done so much to try to harm America."

On Thursday night, Media Research Center President Brent Bozell appeared on Fox News’ Hannity to promote the MRC’s Notable Quotables “Worst of the Worst 2014" awards. During the segment, Bozell highlighted Chris Matthews winning the “Ku Klux Con Job for Smearing Conservatives with Phony Racism Charges” for arguing that Republicans supporting voter ID laws was “murder in broad daylight.”

On Monday morning, Media Research Center President Brent Bozell appeared on FBN’s Varney & Company to discuss the 2014 midterm elections including a recent MRC study expsoing how the network evening newscasts have provided minimal election coverage compared to the 2006 midterms. During the segment, Bozell argued that “the ideology of the far left that controls the networks has now gone into the arena of journalistic malpractice…I think it’s a direct threat to democracy itself. If you have a public that is not informed, or misinformed by the national news media, it really is hurtful to the democratic process.

"If it hurts the narrative of the Obama administration, it's just not covered." That's how Media Research Center president Brent Bozell summed up the stunning findings of the latest MRC study, which shows a tremendous disparity in how the liberal broadcast networks covered the 2006 midterms as opposed to this years.

Today the Media Research Center (MRC) announced that it entered into an Agreed Order of Dismissal with the government ending its lawsuit to block enforcement of the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) Health and Human Services (HHS) mandate, which forces people of faith to subsidize health insurance plans that include abortion inducing drugs, contraception, and sterilization.

President Obama often takes cheap pot shots at Fox News from the podium because it's the only network doggedly reporting on his administration's numerous scandals, Media Research Center founder and president Brent Bozell told Stuart Varney on the Friday, October 3 edition of his eponymous Fox Business Network program. The rest of the media, however, are "fully vested" in Obama and willing to go "down in flames" with his flailing administration.

Stephen Colbert tells his interview guests that they’re about to be interviewed by a moron. Sometimes he sounds like that during the rest of the show. On Wednesday night, Colbert mocked MRC president Brent Bozell and others for allegedly arguing that the shooting of Michael Brown was caused by national media coverage.
It’s a completely inaccurate caricature. Only a fake-conservative TV moron like Colbert would argue nobody would be shot if the media never covered a shooting. The clips that Colbert’s crew snipped were about the incessant coverage of the Ferguson protesting, looting and rioting, not about the shooting. Colbert wants to pretend the press showing up to a violent protest scene has no effect on whether the protests and/or violence continues. (Video, transcript below)

Appearing on Fox Business Network's Cavuto program last night to discuss the liberal media's penchant for hyping Republican scandals while downplaying or outright ignoring Democratic ones, Media Research Center president and founder Brent Bozell offered free advice for Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R), against whom the Big Three networks devoted 37 minutes of hype regarding an indictment which dropped on Friday. [By contrast, Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's ethics scandal has been mostly unreported with a scant 3 minutes, 36 seconds of coverage in 8 months time]
"If I were advising Gov. Perry, I would tell him simply run the video of the woman who you're trying to get fired, the DA who was drunk off her rear end with a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit," Bozell noted, telling guest host Cheryl Casone, "I do believe if Rick Perry goes hard-charging, goes against the media that have been doing this and just simply tells the truth and tells the story, he's going to have a big wave of public sympathy." MRC president Brent Bozell appeared on the Steve Malzberg Show on Newsmax TV August 14 to discuss the media's coverage of the protests in Ferguson, Missouri as well as the lack of party labels in TV news stories on Democratic scandals.
They started by marveling at Andrea Mitchell’s gooey birthday wishes for Castro, including a shout-out for 20-year-old Elian Gonzalez, who the Clinton administration seized in Miami and sent back to his father in Cuba back in 2000. (Video below)

It looks like Shannon Bream of Fox News lost a friendly bet with Brent Bozell, the president and founder of the Media Research Center, NewsBusters's parent company.
On last night's Kelly File, the fill-in anchor argued that the liberal broadcast networks would have to devote time to covering John Walsh if he bowed out of his Senate race due to his plagiarism scandal. Bozell insisted otherwise and placed a dinner wager on the table [Watch that video in the embed below, fast forward to 2:48 into the video]. Well, this afternoon Montana Democratic U.S. Senator John Walsh did indeed announce he was dropping out of the race, and, alas, neither ABC's World News nor CBS's Evening News nor the NBC Nightly News even made a passing reference to the development.

As pressure grows on Sen. John Walsh (D-Montana) to drop out of his election campaign in light of his plagiarism controversy, the liberal media are largely ignoring the story, despite the fact that "the Senate hangs in the balance" and "any one race can make or break it," Media Research Center president and founder Brent Bozell told the audience of Wednesday's edition of the Fox News Channel program the Kelly File.
By contrast, Bozell noted, in years past, particularly crucial election years, the media have obsessed over scandals in years gone by that plagued Republicans, making them household names in a less-than-flattering manner [LISTEN to MP3 audio here; WATCH the full segment by pressing play on the embed below the page break]:
