On Thursday’s The ReidOut on MSNBC, host Joy Reid once again decided to viciously attack the Republican Party over their support of the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. In an unhinged rant, she claimed Republicans “don’t actually do anything” except block what she describes as “sensible gun reform.” 

ABC’s Capitol Hill correspondent Rachel Scott continued her harassment of Republican Senators Thursday in the network’s apparent attempt to bully enough Senators into supporting the Democrat’s gun control agenda, this time with help from Sky News reporter Mark Stone. However, two Republican Senators were able to turn the tables on both Scott and Stone. 

On the Wednesday edition of CNN’s Don Lemon Tonight, the show’s titular host allowed Democratic Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner to bemoan the city’s upcoming annual NRA meeting. Lemon repeatedly questioned the Mayor as to why the state of Texas is not canceling the upcoming NRA convention that is to be held this upcoming weekend, May 27-29.

Stephanie Ruhle must have realized she was lagging behind the other hosts on MSNBC in political exploitation and did her best on Wednesday night’s The 11th Hour to push her half-hour-long interview with Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) in an increasingly gruesome, hateful, and constitutionally dubious direction. 

Largely averse to facts, logic, and nuance, ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS Mornings continued Thursday with their insufferable campaigns for gun control in light of the Uvalde, Texas school shooting (which wouldn’t have stopped the gunman) and shaming of anyone who opposes their policy changes, suggesting they’re uninterested in protecting kids.

Christiane Amanpour’s CNN International show is simulcast for Americans on PBS, meaning that your tax dollars paid for a Wednesday edition of Amanpour and Company where Amanpour wondered why “the firearms industry” insists on flipping off children. The answer she got from her guests was racism.

For the late night hosts, the school shooting in Uvalde provided them the opportunity to use their Wednesday shows to blame “the gun lobby,” Republicans, and the Supreme Court and to praise Beto O’Rourke’s stunt in the push for gun control.

The network evening news in April rediscovered Joe Biden’s crisis on the southern border, offering more coverage than they had in the previous five months combined. And all it took for this was a record-smashing high for border crossings, the most in Department of Homeland Security history. In April, there were 234,088, topping the record high from March of 2022, 221,303.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid once again proved how deep her hatred runs for her fellow Americans who share a different political opinion, especially on gun rights. During the opening segment on her show The ReidOut, Reid lashed out at Republicans and the National Rifle Association (NRA) and made the recklessly irresponsible claim that their “tolerance for slaughter are bottomless.”

A day after the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas in which nineteen children and two teachers were shot and killed, the evening news networks continued their ghoulish coverage of standing on the graves of the children who died to lobby for the Democrat Party’s gun-grabbing agenda.
