Sarah Silverman: 'The Entire Fox News Channel is a 24-Hour a Day Racism Engine'

Don't you hate when people assume the worst of the motivations of others? Especially people who shouldn't be making any social commentary, like Sarah Silverman, comedian and author of "The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee."

In her book, Silverman attacks the Tea Party movement and "right-wing Americans," suggesting their efforts aren't for the sake of fiscal responsibility and the fear the country is headed toward an entitlement state, but instead - veiled racism. Silverman, who had her own run-in with Guy Aoki, president of the Media Action Network for Asian Americans, for using the word "chink" in a joke, said his cause, to combat racism against Asians, is more difficult today because of this so-called camouflage.

CNN's Larry King thinks former Alaska governor Sarah Palin should pose for Playboy.

Chatting with comedienne Sarah Silverman on Tuesday's "Larry King Live," the host brought up the liberal media's favorite conservative female target.

"We can't leave without asking you, my producers say I must ask you. Sarah Palin, what do you think?"

Without question, Silverman's comment was not as shocking as King's response (video follows with transcript, relevant section at 4:00, h/t Twitter's @Cubachi, file photo):

In a CNN video posted at Story Balloon, left-wing comedian Sarah Silverman expressed her disgust at the nation’s rejection of same-sex marriage as she declared that she is "starting to get appalled by anybody who would get married in this day and age." She went on to compare getting married to joining a racially exclusive country club in the 1960s. Silverman: "I mean, it’s like, if you say, if you joined a club, a country club, you know, in the 60s that, where no blacks or Jews were allowed. Why would you want to join that country club? ... I find marriage has a very ugly mark on it right now, and I would not want to be a part of it."

And, as she made a distinction between her Jewish ethnic heritage and her religious beliefs, she described herself as agnostic, and related that she is only religious when "I’m very, very sick, and, like, on the bathroom floor." Silverman: "I’m not religious. I mean, the only times I’m religious are when I’m very, very sick, and, like, on the bathroom floor, like in sweat, I will definitely find God, or in incredible amounts of turbulence."

Some days on ABC’s The View, there is absolutely no conservative on the set, even Elisabeth Hasselbeck. On Thursday’s show, the whole panel, including guest host Meghan McCain, endorsed gays in the military. But the liberal unity was really obvious when atheist comedienne Sarah Silverman showed up to promote her Comedy Central show. She said marriage was "gross" and bigoted as long as gays couldn’t marry,

ABC also re-aired and applauded – Hasselbeck applauded – Silverman’s Catholic-bashing video  urging the Pope to sell the Vatican to feed the hungry. But they omitted the part where Silverman said this sale would get the Pope lots of sex.

Co-host Sherri Shepherd asked her about getting married, and after joking about how she was "hot property," Silverman grew very serious, even sanctimonious:

A few years ago, comedienne Sarah Silverman disparaged God on her Comedy Central program by throwing him out of her apartment the morning after having sex with him.

On Friday's "Real Time with Bill Maher," Silverman expounding on her anti-theism by introducing a new video wherein she offered a solution to solve world hunger: "Sell the Vatican, Feed the World."

As she chided the Pope for preaching about living humbly despite residing in a "house that is a city," she advised him that such a noble deed would absolve him of any guilt he might have over his alleged connections to the Holocaust.

More disgracefully, Silverman said, "If you sell the Vatican, and you take that money, and you use it to feed every single human being on the planet, you will get crazy p***y" (video embedded below the fold with partial transcript, h/t Mediaite, vulgarity alert):

CBS Touts 'Great Schlep' Effort to Get Grandparents to Back Obama

A night after Sunday's CBS Evening News ended with a feature piece on a 106-year-old nun in Rome who plans to vote for Barack Obama, Monday's newscast concluded with a puff piece on “The Great Schlep,” a Columbus Day weekend effort headlined by left-wing comedian Sarah Silverman to get Jewish grandchildren to travel to Florida to convince their grandparents to vote for Barack Obama. In a video clip from the group's Web site which CBS played, Silverman, star of the Sarah Silverman Show on Comedy Central, pleaded: “If you knew that visiting your grandparents could change the world, would you do it? Of course you would,” so “schlep over to Florida and convince your grandparents to vote Obama.”

Anchor Katie Couric's introduction offered no hint to how the effort was on behalf of one specific candidate:
Senior citizens are a key voting block. In Florida, for instance, more than 7.5 million people voted in the last presidential election, and nearly one in five was 65 or older. Many of them, of course, are grandparents, a lot of them Jewish. So how do you win their votes this time around? Call in the grandkids, it's time for the Great Schlep.
CBS Promotes Pro-Obama Video by Sarah Silverman, Censors and Ignores All Its Profanity (Updated)

It was about "The Great Schlep," an effort to get young Jews to visit their grandparents in Florida and urge them to vote Obama. (Video is here.)The effort is led by raunchy comedienne Sarah Silverman, but CBS never let one word slip about Silverman’s trashy Comedy Central show (like the episode where she has a one-night stand with God, and then blows him off in the morning), or the profanity all over the Great Schlep video she narrates. They only played clean parts. That would exclude Silverman saying "vote for McCain, to me you’re a s-t stain," Gore was "f—ed by Florida" in 2000, and Obama is "probably our last hope of ending our country’s reputation as the a--holes of the universe."

UPDATE: CBS Evening News also promoted Silverman's video and the Great Schlep project at the end of Monday night's broadcast -- and also skipped over the profanity and anti-conservative remarks.

On the Great Schlep website, the Silverman video starts with the warning "Viewer Discretion Advised, Contains Expletives." CBS showed Silverman saying, "If you knew that visiting your grandparents could change the world, would you do it? Of course, you would." Then they cut out the very next sentence: "You’d have to be a douche-nozzle not to."

As reported by NewsBuster Ken Shepherd Wednesday, America’s newspapers are getting rid of their religion sections like bad habits.

Speaking of losing one’s religion, Comedy Central Wednesday evening featured the star of the “Sarah Silverman Program” having sex with God, and disparagingly tossing him out of bed in the morning using the lame excuse that she had to help her friend move out of her apartment (video available here).

Think this was suggesting that God is Good?
