Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh made a rare TV appearance on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace to discuss a variety of topics including the state of race relations in America following two grand jury decisions in Ferguson, Missouri and Staten Island in which police were not indicted following the deaths of two African American men. Speaking to Wallace on the “hands up don’t shoot” protests in the wake of the Ferguson decision, Limbaugh argued that “what most of the media is describing did not happen in Ferguson, Missouri. There was no hands up, don't shoot. It didn't happen. And that's tearing this country apart. We have people to whom the truth is relative.” 

On Thursday night's All Things Considered, Texas-based NPR correspondent Wade Goodwyn delved into alleged right-wing panic over Ebola derived from "visceral loathing of President Obama,", including claims that some leftists want an Ebola epidemic in America. Goodwyn quoted radio hosts Mike Huckabee, Rush Limbaugh, and Michael Savage -- all featured recently on left-wing blog sites.

So it might be a little embarrassing to note that new report from Sarah Ferris at The Hill newspaper that some Democrats are joining the “panic” wing and asking for flight bans, and they’re liberal Democrats on the House side: “The three Democrats — Reps. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.), Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) and Dave Loebsack (D-Iowa) – are among the growing handful in their party who have publicly criticized the Obama administration’s response to Ebola.” Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla) also called for travel bans earlier this week.

The Rush Limbaugh Show is going on the attack against leftist “Stop Rush” agitators trying to ruin his program among advertisers.

In particular, they’re challenging the idea that this is a “grassroots” movement of ordinary American consumers targeting advertisers. They say there are no average customers here, just a “small number of hardcore political activists" on the Left.

Conservative icon Rush Limbaugh declared during his radio show on Friday that the “mainstream media” was unable to transform “gentle giant” black teenager Michael Brown, who was shot and killed by white police officer Darren Wilson on August 9, into Rodney King -- the black man who became famous for a high-speed pursuit by the police and later asking “Can't we all get along?” 22 years ago -- because “alternative media,” including talk radio, has destroyed “the monopoly of the Drive-By Media.”

That claim was contradicted by Touré Neblett, a co-host of MSNBC's weekday The Cycle program, who charged in Sunday's edition of the Washington Post that black victims of crime become “thuggified” as negative incidents in their pasts are revealed to the public that diminish their standing in America’s “empathy gap.”

Obama declared on Wednesday, “Here in the United States of America, police should not be bullying or arresting journalists who are just trying to do their jobs.”
