Actor Rob Lowe sounded conservative again on Friday, hitting the President for doing an interview with a YouTube celebrity, but ignoring Benjamin Netanyahu. Lowe tweeted out, "Hold up. Is it true that a woman who eats cereal out of a bathtub gets to meet with the President and the Prime Minister of Isreal [sic] does not?"

On Wednesday, actor Rob Lowe took to Twitter to criticize Barack Obama’s failed foreign policies.

Waiting for the President to deliver a speech at the U.S. Africa Leaders Summit, the irritated star of NBC’s Parks and Recreation demanded the President explain how the world literally fell apart on his watch:

Did you know that white men are good for little more than making crystal meth? And that Americans are proudly belligerent and ignorant? At least according to Wonkette founder Ana Marie Cox, as expressed Friday night on "Real Time with Bill Maher" with her formulaic snark.

Cox was a guest on the show, along with GOP Rep. Duncan Hunter of California, actor Rob Lowe and left-wing journalist Matt Taibbi, and talking with them about drug decriminalization when she made the first of two gratuitous swipes, first at American men of pale skin hue, then at Americans in general. Speaking to Meet the Press moderator David Gregory for NBC's web-based program Press Pass on Sunday, usually liberal actor Rob Lowe expressed a more conservative political perspective: "Just my own world view is that the individual needs to be more responsible for their own lives and that's not the conversation we're having right now, for whatever reason." Lowe was discussing his role as President Kennedy in the new documentary Killing Kennedy and used JFK to make his point: "Kennedy's 'Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country'...today I think that's – our discussion is the inverse. People are asking, 'What can our government do for us?'"

Rob Lowe took a comical, self-deprecating swipe at himself and Tom Brady Tuesday.

Appearing on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live, Lowe said he's rooting for the New England Patriots quarterback in the NFL playoffs because "I always support the pretty boys."

Maybe the sanest words out of any media member's mouth in the weeks following the massacre in Newtown, Connecticut, came from actor Rob Lowe on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight Monday.

"I’m no social anthropologist, but I do think that the last thing viewers want is another Hollywood actor telling them anything about guns pro or con" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Hollywood star Rob Lowe, who once campaigned for Michael Dukakis, appeared on Tuesday's Hannity and proclaimed that conservative politics is based on "logic." Liberalism, he asserted, is "built on empathy. "

Appearing to promote his new book "Stories I Only Tell My Friends," Lowe was pressed on why Hollywood is so liberal. Lowe enthused, "And you know, one of the great things about Hollywood liberals their passion and their ability to stand out and try to get things done." [MP3 audio here. Video below.]
