It seems these days Bill Maher puts his foot in his mouth virtually every time he's in front of a camera.

On Friday's "Real Time," the holier than thou host actually said liberals never talk about nationalizing the oil industry minutes before calling former Alaska governor Sarah Palin and Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) a couple of "crazy" "know nothings" "who both get their historical facts wrong all the time" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

The Censors are now coming in waves. Late last week it was Sen. Debbie Stabenow, and this week Sen. Tom Harkin and then former President Bill Clinton.

And today on CNN Radio New York Democratic Representative Maurice Hinchey re-asserted his long held desire to reinstate the Censorship Doctrine.

From the CNN website:

"I think the Fairness Doctrine should be reinstated," Hinchey told CNNRadio. Hinchey says he could make it part of a bill he plans to introduce later this year overhauling radio and t-v ownership laws.
