Liberal celebrity talk show host Ellen DeGeneres continued to dismiss Hillary Clinton’s e-mail scandal during her eponymous show on Thursday as she repeatedly thanked socialist Senator and Clinton opponent Bernie Sanders for railing in the Democratic debate against the attention devoted to Clinton’s “damn e-mails.”

This week, ABC's David Muir interviews Hillary Clinton, serving up hardball questions such as, "Is your mother's voice in your ear?" At the same time, network journalists insist there's no news in Hillary's e-mail scandal, while a CNN pundit smears Dick Cheney as a "political sociopath."

In a fawning “interview” with Hillary Clinton aired on Thursday that amounted to a campaign rally, liberal talk show host Ellen DeGeneres assured the Democrat she doesn't need to address her e-mail scandal: “I actually don't think you need to. It's just that people keep bringing it up. They have not found a thing.” She soon endorsed Clinton for president: “You are the smartest, most qualified person for this job. If I'm looking for someone who’s qualified – if I want to hire a plumber, I want someone who has snaked the drain before, you know what I’m saying.”

While ABC’s World News Tonight aired on Tuesday David Muir’s exclusive interview with Hillary Clinton, the CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News soldiered on with full stories on the 2016 campaign boosting the Clinton camp’s “reset” trying to promote the candidate’s “fun side...along with a lighter touch” in an attempt “to match the exuberance surrounding Bernie Sanders.”

Networks Ignore Obama's Plug for ObamaCare on Ellen DeGeneres Show, But Loved His Interview with Galifianakis

While the networks swooned over President Obama's mock interview with comedian Zach Galifianakis, only ABC noted Obama's appearance on Thursday's Ellen DeGeneres Show where he plugged ObamaCare.
And ABC focused only on the shallow, touting Obama's exchange with DeGeneres over her "selfie" at the Oscars. Interestingly, they left out the President plugging his health care law. Neither NBC nor CBS even mentioned the interview after all three networks touted Obama's interview with Galifianakis where he pushed for ObamaCare.

With the March 31 deadline looming ever closer for people -- especially young adults -- to sign up for coverage through the "Affordable Care Act," the president has used several different and unusual venues to get his message out, ranging from a fake web-based interview with Between Two Ferns host and comedian Zach Galifianakis to a “push for ObamaCare” on Thursday's edition of CBS This Morning.
However, one of his most recent efforts was serving as a guest on Colin Cowherd's ESPN Radio show, when the host threw Obama softball questions about the last drive, which contains "supportive celebrity tweets and videos ... and a tongue-in-cheek tool kit that teaches parents how to get on social media and 'nag' their children 'mercilessly.'"

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres will host the 86th Academy Awards next year on March 2, 2014. The pick is a natural fit. DeGeneres is popular, likeable and experienced, having previously hosted the ceremony in 2007.
But more important, her presence will appease women and gays while dousing the Academy’s reputation as “an old white man’s club.” And that’s not the opinion of some stodgy conservative group – it comes right from The Hollywood Reporter’s awards analyst.
