Occupy Wall Street Tweets in Hurricane's Aftermath: 'When Capitalism Retreats, Our Communities Flourish'

It didn't take long for the Luddites at Occupy Wall Street to go loony in the wake of Hurricane Sandy's damage.

Michelle Malkin's Twitchy.com web site captured tweets about how showing reactions in the midst of all the death and destruction at OWS's official Twitter account you won't see in the establishment press. The most egregious examples follow the jump.

Here they are:

Yes, the irony that they are using the high-tech results of applied capitalism to communicate seems totally lost on them.

And no, I don't expect the establishment press to notice Occupy's hypocrisy and hostility, especially since they come at a useful time. Voters shouldn't forget that President Obama (here, here, here and here), Nancy Pelosi and many other Democrats endorsed the Occupy movement late last year. They have never retracted those endorsements despite thousands of arrests, several deaths, a litany of property and personal crimes, horrid filth, and disruptive costs to untold numbers of businesses.
