Mike Malloy Takes D.C. Stage to Tell 'Corporate Thugs' to Er, Love Themselves

October 8th, 2011 3:50 PM

Leftist talk-radio screamer Mike Malloy brought his extreme rhetoric from the radio to an "Occupy" protest stage set up at Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C. on Thursday. He took a couple of days off from the radio show so he could delight the crowd by telling the "corporate thugs" to "go f--- yourself."

His wife and producer Kathy blogged on the Malloy show website: "It’s not the Tea Party of the Left, if for no other reason than the members can spell and haven’t assembled to denigrate,  humiliate, or marginalize any socioeconomic or ethnic segment of society.  The Occupy Wall Street movement is also different from the games Teabaggers play in that it has mushroomed overnight to cities all over the country while receiving barely a mention in the press."

Christopher Goins of CNSNews.com was on the scene near the White House to take down Mike Malloy's craziness for posterity:

“The 99 percent of us who are not the ultra-wealthy are being told that this breakdown, this chaos, this malfunction of society is the result of natural forces at work, that there is nothing to be done -- this is a lie. The corporate state is demanding ownership of everything: our education system; our economy; our government; everything.”

He continued: “To this there is only one answer to these corporate thugs: Go f --- yourselves! We’ve had enough! How dare these greedy bastards -- give me all of it, give me everything, give me your body, give me your spirit, give me your soul, give me your planet, give me your life – f--- you!”

“Did they think we’re going to do this?” he said. “To continue this passive bulls--- that the corporations, the capitalists, the national security state has relied on for the past several decades. We have news for you Mr. Capitalist, Ms. Corporatist: the passivity is over. Your greed and your stupidity will now be met head on.”

Malloy is a former CNN news writer and Air America Radio hosts who got his start on talk radio in Atlanta, Georgia. His show is currently streamed through in Canada and the United States through Sirius XM and is carried by radio stations Monday-Friday in Portland, Oregon, Minneapolis, Minnesota, San Francisco, California, and Seattle, Washington.

The DC movement has a very leftist pledge: "I pledge that if any U.S. troops, contractors, or mercenaries remain in Afghanistan on Thursday, October 6, 2011, as that occupation goes into its 11th year, I will commit to being in Freedom Plaza  in Washington, D.C., with others on that day or the days immediately following, for as long as I can, with the intention of making it our Tahrir Square, Cairo, our Madison, Wisconsin, where we will NONVIOLENTLY resist the corporate machine by occupying Freedom Plaza to demand that America's resources be invested in human needs and environmental protection instead of war and exploitation. We can do this together. We will be the beginning."

While Malloy was away, he gave his microphone over to Brad Friedman of the Brad Blog, who took over the ranting by denouncing Herman Cain as an idiot: "Herman Cain, God love him. Nice guy, dumb as dirt! Dumb as dirt!" He returned to the theme:

Unbelievable how stupid this guy is! Again - nice guy, but stupid, dumb as dirt! I'll just - one part of what he said - he says I don't have the facts to back this up, but I happen to believe that these demonstrations are planned and orchestrated to distract from the failed policies of the Obama administration. If you don't have a job and you're not rich, blame yourself, this jackass says! Blame yourself - it's all your fault! It's all your fault that these corporations moved all of their jobs to China, to Mexico and told American workers to go to hell because that would be better for America!  Are you kidding, Herman Cain? Jesus!

Friedman also had tough words for Mitt Romney for denouncing class warfare and the Occupy protests:

He thinks it's dangerous. He thinks it's class warfare. Well, if I was in his class I'd be worried about that too. But it's YOUR class, Mitt, who started this war. It was YOUR class, Mitt, who fired the first shot and who fired millions of Americans. That's how you made your bones, baby! What are you complaining about? you've been sending people to the unemployment line for years now! And now - now you're complaining about class warfare? Maybe you should have thought of that in advance. Maybe all the plutocrats should have thought of that in advance!
