According to TMZ, 9/11 truther and denouncer of "radical Christianity" Rosie O'Donnell has signed a deal with ABC to once again be a permanent host of The View. In the wake of the retirement of Barbara Walters and the departures of Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd, the show has turned to the woman who once said this of America: "I just want to say something. 655,000 Iraqi civilians are dead. Who are the terrorists?" 

On September 12, 2006, after token conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck raised the threat of "radical Islam," O'Donnell spat back: "Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America where we have a separation of church and state." On March 29, 2007, the talk show host promoted 9/11 conspiracy theories on the show: "I do believe it is the first time in history that fire has ever melted steel. I do believe that it defies physics for the World Trade Center Tower Seven, building seven, which collapsed in on itself." [See below for video and MP3 audio of O'Donnell's top five most shocking quotes.]

A Quinnipiac poll that listed Barack Obama as the worst president since World War II had the ladies of ABC’s The View quite upset. On Monday’s show Jenny McCarthy defended Obama’s terrible ranking by asking “isn’t the sitting president always considered the worst president?” She then griped that Obama has had to deal with the “worst Congress ever.”

Sherri Shepherd spoke up for all the “happy” people on ObamaCare and guest-host Ana Ortiz played the race card as the Devious Maids actress complained: “It’s 1400 people and 73 percent of those people were white. I have never been asked a poll question ever.” (video after the jump)

Liberal comic Bill Maher appeared on Monday's The View and was touted by the hosts as the "kind of guest we like around here because he will tear into any hot topic and he does not hold back.” Unsurprisingly Maher praised the "fantastic" Obama and slammed the "racist" Tea Party.

The hosts tossed Maher questions about guns, Hillary Clinton, PETA, and President Obama’s job performance and he offered his typical left-wing rhetoric. Among other things Maher touted himself as more "empathetic” than Liam Neeson and agreed with Whoopi Goldberg that Democrats running from ObamaCare are "punks."

On the Monday, June 2 edition of The View, in a rare moment, the notably liberal hosts took to blasting liberal actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Charlize Theron for the ludicrous, offensive comments they each made recently which seemed to minimize the real trials and hardships of military veterans and rape victims respectively.

Theron lamented that when someone like herself starts reading negative comments about herself online “you start feeling raped.” while Paltrow compared negative online comments to suffering through combat, because in war “you go through this bloody, dehumanizing thing.” The ladies of The View were not amused and spent some time warning Paltrow, specifically, of comparing her posh life as an actress to the rigors of battle.

Despite the rise in deaths from preventable childhood diseases, the networks spent the last 15 years fueling speculation that vaccines cause autism. Just in the past seven years more than 1,300 died from such diseases, according to CDC data.

The medical community widely refuted such claims and the medical journal that once published the study later retracted it. But for years the broadcast networks continued to report on the alleged connection between vaccines and autism.
