Liberal comedienne Kathy Griffin appeared on The View, Tuesday, to mock conservatives. Speaking of her elderly mom, she joked, "Fox News is like porn for old people. I mean, they just keep it on a loop. Old people love Fox. They love it." Griffin said of her mom: "And my mother is a super right-wing conservative and loves her boyfriend Bill O'Reilly and her boyfriend Sean Hannity."

On Tuesday morning, The View’s “conservative” co-host Nicolle Wallace gave a ringing endorsement for Governor Chris Christie (R-N.J.) should he decide to run for president in 2016. Unfortunately for Christie, her reasons for supporting him probably won’t help him win over many Republican primary voters. During a discussion about Chris Christie’s 2016 prospects, Wallace eagerly threw her hat in for the New Jersey Republican and proclaimed that “his politics are an interesting and Progressive and modern swath of the country and I’d like to see him in.”

Nicolle Wallace, The View's new "conservative" co-host, on Monday trashed Sarah Palin and defended Hillary Clinton against alleged sexism. Wallace, who worked for Palin in 2008, has previously attacked her former boss. Asked to talk about an alleged brawl that broke out at a Palin family party, the ex-political operative mocked, "I have political staffer version of PTSD. So, whenever I hear she's breaking her silence...my heart stops."

On Thursday, September 18, a strange thing happened: ABC actually covered President Obama’s plummeting poll numbers. No, not ABC News, but the daytime ABC program The View which spent nearly four minutes discussing his falling poll numbers. Moderator Whoopi Goldberg proclaimed that President Obama “might be afraid…the latest approval ratings seemed to have sunk lower than George Bush's levels. Partly because more than half of Americans are disapproving of the way he seems to be handling terrorism.”

In a shocker, New York Times TV critic Alessandra Stanley panned "The View" and new "conservative" co-host Nicolle Wallace.

Stanley found she missed Elisabeth Hasselbeck – “opinionated, emotional, and easily drawn into ideological spats – and dismissed Nicolle Wallace, who “didn’t say a word when Ms. Perez joked about Mitt Romney having a vagina.”

Rosie O'Donnell appeared shocked by the suggestion that Barack Obama "doesn't love people." The View co-host sparred with Republican Nicolle Wallace over the President and demonstrated that she's still obsessed with George W. Bush. After Wallace suggested that Joe Biden has an easier time because "Joe Biden genuinely loves people," O'Donnell sputtered, "So, are you implying that Obama doesn't?...He doesn't love people? Oh, wow."

In addition to 9/11 Truther Rosie O'Donnell, two other hosts debuted on The View, Monday. Moderate Republican Nicolle Wallace and liberal actress Rosie Perez. Wallace famously worked for – and then publicly trashed – Sarah Palin. Perez quizzed, "One, what was it like when you first met her? Two, did the winking get on your nerves? And three, when did you just want to just pop her?"

Rosie O'Donnell debuted for the second time as a host of The View on Monday and immediately trashed the National Football League as a natural place for abusive men. Discussing players Adrian Peterson and Ray Rice, who have both been accused of attacking family members, O'Donnell spewed, " They live in an arena of -- it would be wonderful if they were able to separate the violence of their job with the violence in their life! But I don't think that's how human brains work."

Liberal comedienne and 9/11 truther Rosie O'Donnell insisted that her return to The View will feature more "objective" discussions. In an interview with Variety, she bashed previous co-hosts Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. Variety writer Ramin Setoodeh relayed, "[O'Donnell] explains that the Hot Topics segment will include pre-taped newsy intros to catch viewers up on stories they might not be as familiar with."

ABC officially announced on Thursday that liberal actress Rosie Perez will join liberal comedienne Rosie O'Donnell and Sarah Palin-Basher Nicolle Wallace as the three new hosts of The View. The female-oriented chat show will now have no conservative voice for its 18th season, debuting in September.

In 2012, Perez campaigned for Barack Obama and starred in an ad bashing Mitt Romney. In the spot, she sneered, "Unfortunately for you, Mitt, you were cursed with the hard-knock life of growing as up the son of a wealthy governor and auto executive." The actress also appeared on Al Sharpton's MSNBC show in December of 2012. She fawned over the Democratic activist, enthusing, "It's an honor. I've been a fan of yours and respect you immensely." During Monday's edition of The View, Sherri Shepherd -- who had served as a co-host on the ABC weekday program for seven years -- gave an emotional farewell in which she declared she is “so thankful for the group of friends and family that I have made and that have supported me” throughout her tenure.

Shepherd also acknowledged the criticism she'd received over the years from Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly, Bill Maher, host of the Real Time program on HBO, and another talk show host who said "she could be replaced with a potato sack.” [See video below.]
