Trudeaumania Part Deux Grips the Associated Press

The folks at the Associated Press aren't even trying to disguise how pleased they are after Canada's most recent elections swept the Liberal Party into power after almost a decade in the wilderness.

They're claiming that victorious Prime Minister Justin Trudeau seems destined to ignite the second installment of "Trudeaumania," the late-1960s press anointing which accompanied his father Pierre into that same position. It's quite clear that the AP is uninterested in informing readers about how awful Pierre Trudeau's actual record was. They instead want readers to believe that happy, reality-avoiding leftist days are here again.

NYT Admits Writer's F-Bomb Post on Jeb was 'Completely Inappropriate'

The New York Times admitted on Thursday that a staff writer's F-word attack on former Governor Jeb Bush was out of step with their standards. Politco's Hadas Gold and Marc Caputo quoted an unnamed spokesperson for the liberal newspaper who labeled the now-deleted Twitter post from Philip B. Richardson "completely inappropriate," and stated that "the staffer is being dealt with."

Left-Wing NY Times Writer Drops F-Bomb at Jeb Bush on Twitter; Deletes

Philip B. Richardson, a writer for the New York Times, unleashed his rage at Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush in a Wednesday post on Twitter: "F**k you Jeb Bush for telling poor people they need stronger families to not be poor. Poverty weakens families." Richardson subsequently deleted the tweet, but not until after it was noticed by several conservatives on the social media site.

Celebs, Media Love ‘Black Lives Matter’ Question During the #DemDebate

During the Democratic debate Tuesday night, candidates were asked the question, “Do black lives matter or do all lives matter?” This mind-numbing question brought out gushing answers of affirmation, “Well of course black lives matter!” from Sanders, Clinton and O’Malley, who all went on to lament that we “need to do more.” Of course that PC Q&A was received with gusto from the media elite who took to Twitter to share their enthusiasm:

“He's coming of age in a movement that often treats reality as subordinate to perception; that will embrace obvious distortions of facts if doing so might move the needle of public opinion,” alleged Beutler, who claimed that some of those factual distortions were found in Carly Fiorina’s statements about the Planned Parenthood videos during the recent Republican presidential debate.
