The Media Research Center’s Director of Media Analysis Tim Graham made his latest appearance on the Fox News Channel (FNC) program The O’Reilly Factor Tuesday night for what was quite the lively segment with fill-in host Eric Bolling and ETWN correspondent Lauren Ashburn as Graham and Bolling spared with Ashburn over the media’s obsession with Donald Trump and double standard when it comes to exposing lies by Hillary Clinton.

On Wednesday night, Fox News host Bill O’Reilly pressed NBC’s Ted Koppel on the state of the country: “...a new Wall Street Journal poll says just 20% of Americans believe the country is headed in the right direction....do you believe the USA is in bad shape right now, Mr. Koppel? And if so, why?” Koppel dismissed the public’s pessimism and tried to minimize the threat from ISIS terrorists: “I don't think the country is in as bad a shape as your question implies. I think we’re scaring ourselves to death with this ISIS threat."

Appearing on Fox News’s O’Reilly Factor Monday night, media analyst Bernie Goldberg ripped President Obama’s address to nation on terrorism and argued that even members of the liberal media would start to abandon the commander-in-chief: “There are people in the media who have a lot invested in Barack Obama and they're not gonna throw him under the bus. But when Barack Obama makes you look foolish by defending him, that's another story.”

Tuesday Night on The O’Reilly Factor, Bill O’Reilly and Bernie Goldberg discussed the ‘morality play’ created by NBC's Harry Smith on the Syrian refugee crisis, complete with Bible verses, as was previously documented on NewsBusters. Smith had tried to compare the Japanese internment with the refugee crisis. Bernie set fire to the idea when he said, “He [President Roosevelt] only interned Japanese Americans, and let's emphasize they were Americans, because they weren't white."

Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly attacked CNN's Carol Costello on the Wednesday edition of his O'Reilly Factor program over her "cheap shot" at the moderators of the recent GOP presidential debate on Fox Business Network. O'Reilly targeted Costello's "completely ludicrous" remark that "the moderators didn't ask very challenging questions." He also underlined that the CNN anchor has "a history of provocative statements."

Appearing on FNC’s O’Reilly Factor Wednesday night, both Marco Rubio and Carly Fiorina hammered the obvious double standard against conservatives in the liberal media. Host Bill O’Reilly asked Rubio: “Is the media out to get you?” Rubio replied: “I do think there’s a bias against – at least a double standard when it comes to those of us who are conservatives. They hold us to a different standard than they hold Democrats and I think you see – and liberals, especially.”

During Thursday night's edition of The O'Reilly Factor on the Fox News Channel, host Bill O'Reilly tried to demonstrate the bad judgment of the Democratic National Committee allying itself with the Black Lives Matter movement, which has members who have called for violence against police officers in protests all across the country.
However, Keith Boykin, an African-American who once served as a special assistant to president Bill Clinton, aggressively asserted that none of the BLM leaders agreed with that concept -- so much so that the anchor had to turn off his microphone so the host and another guest could take part in the discussion.
