Larry Wilmore's program.

On his The Nightly Show on Comedy Central, in the aftermath of the Charleston church massacre, host Larry Wilmore tried to deceive his audience into believing that Fox News hosts as well as former Senator Rick Santorum had been clinging to the possibility that the Charleston church massacre was motivated by religion, even after reporting surfaced that the gunman had expressed blatantly racist motivations during the rampage.

In the case of Santorum, Wilmore's staff even reversed the order of some of the Republican presidential candidate's words from an interview to make it sound like he had suggested the massacre could not have been motivated by anything other than "assaults on religious liberty."

Liberals have been celebrating since Friday’s Supreme Court decision legalizing gay marriage with late-night comedy hosts particularly exuberant about the ruling. Comedy Central’s Larry Wilmore was no different. He began his show Monday night by saying, “Let’s get this party started!” while a gay men’s choir decked out in rainbow colors sang behind him. But that wasn’t even the most outrageous part of the program.

Wilmore brought on a panel, which included transgender activist Janet Mock, to discuss the next step after gay marriage. That’s when Wilmore asked the pressing question: “Do you think we’ll ever see a day when we’ll have a gay president who is married? Like, uh, well, ‘gay married’ – is that the right term?”

On Monday’s Nightly Show, Comedy Central’s Larry Wilmore took time out of his race-obsessed show to return to his favorite hobby, bashing Republicans, specifically the 2016 GOP presidential candidates who are engaged in the “unblackening” of America.

Every once in a while Larry Wilmore’s The Nightly Show will break up the yawn fest and feature guests who say ridiculous things, and we get to laugh at them for it.

On Tuesday night, Wilmore’s roundtable discussion involved bashing Fox News for reporting that police officers in Baltimore had cited the community's hostility towards them has stopped them from being able to do their job, as the reason for increased crime in the city. On the panel was Huffington Post’s Marc Lamont Hill, comedian Godfrey, and Ebony senior digital editor Jamilah Lemieux.

Since his Comedy Central show began back in January, Larry Wilmore has followed the heavily-trod path of his former boss, The Daily Show's Jon Stewart -- he directs 95 percent of his snark at conservatives, the remaining sliver at fellow liberals.

Seeing how Wilmore is so selective in his ridicule toward the left, the outrage in question must be indisputably egregious to draw his fire. Mark Halperin's are-you-truly-Cuban? cross examination of GOP Senator Ted Cruz easily meets that standard.

On Wednesday night, Comedy Central host Larry Wilmore went to great lengths to promote the idea that calling rioters in Baltimore thugs was just a socially acceptable way of using the “n-word.” The Nightly Show comedian began is commentary by playing several edited clips of different people referring to the Baltimore rioters as thugs, including President Obama, which Wilmore took great offense to.

During Tuesday's edition of The Nightly Show on the Comedy Central cable channel, host Larry Wilmore used a combination of bad comedy and vulgarity to criticize how the Cable News Network and the Fox News Channel covered the riots and chaos in Baltimore the night before.

With the phrase “What a Riot” over a picture of a burning car, the black liberal began the segment by stating: “We're talking about the devastating events in Baltimore” before playing a clip of a CNN reporter noting that Maryland governor Larry Hogan had declared a state of emergency, and school was canceled after the riots on Monday night.

In an interview with Comedy Central's Nightly Show host Larry Wilmore on Friday's CBS This Morning, co-host Gayle King wondered if the controversy swirling around newly-named Daily Show host Trevor Noah was racially motivated: "So keep it a hundred about Trevor Noah....do you think this would have happened if he was white?...Because first he's, you know, 'Trevor Noah, Trevor Noah,' and then there's this controversy about his tweets."
